Connor Budarick was not listed in the recent Herald Sun draftees article as he was picked up as a zone selection by Gold Coast.

Apparently he had amazing NAB league stats but a quieter national championships.

If anyone already has the 2020 AFL prospectus can you please tell me if his player commentary section lists his CD averages for NAB league and the championships ? And if so what they were ?

I am trying to get a feel for whether he would be top 10-15 material in a SC keeper league draft, but also expect his $106.9k SuperCoach price to appeal as a Fwd/Mid option if he is named for Round 1.

Cheers.

Long earmarked as a future Sun through the Academy pathway, Budarick enters the AFL after an exceptional 2019.
The hard-working midfielder won the Hunter Harrison Medal as the best player in the NAB league, and then earned under-18 All-Australian honours after an excellent national championship campaign with the Allies. The Queenslander also played eight games for the Suns' NEAFL team.

Is Kade Kolodjashnij on our radar? Without knowing how he is travelling he seems good value at $200k. I am not seeing him in any teams maybe because only one $200k mid rookie is being selected?

Was also the Sun's Academy skipper, averaged 76 Fantasy pts in the NEAFL. He's rookie listed so I'm not sure what the go is with that, apart from being elevated if there's an LTI. I'm not sure how it works with the Sun's and their list after the AFL help.

Won’t play round 1. Club has been extremely cautious with him due to his ongoing concussion effects. He has barely been training recently. Bit worried he may retire prematurely tbh.

Jones and McHenry were mentioned a bit but more by the interviewers. I think he said Jones was ferocious and loved the contest....safe to say both those guys are up to their eyeballs in the R1 team. Jones is a lock and McHenry a strong likely I'd say

no to tex haha
Channel 7 reporting tonight that Nicks is going to trial Tex as a winger ?

only took him 12 days to see my post

LOL i still don't believe it haha
lace out to Fogarty coming out of the square is the plan

for his size , Tex is probably the best field kick I've seen on both sides so makes sense to utilise it

not sure he has the engine to be a Richo type winger though , worked well for North Broken Hill......just he was 16 then ?

might be trying to isolate Fog in the F50 or opening it up with space for pace and keeping Tex and the Connector up the field

Surely that's a step backwards

Practice games is the time to practice things

Hopefully once the real stuff starts he has a Plan B , because the bloke he replaced sure didn't have one

Pyke should have moved him to get him involved more in the play

new coach , wipe the slate clean , new ideas/thoughts

Nicks might actually believe Fog is a once in a generation player and actually give him a chance before he leaves.

given that one of their knocks was lack of forward pressure when they didn't have the ball not a great surprise that he would try and change up the forward structure , Betts & JJ gone

Smith forward although he was playing forward/mid pretty much late season.

Be curious how and if he injects some run and pace in the midfield and where he plays Milera & Sloane

Constable + 179,100 5 games only
Miers + 175,500
Drew + 169,800
Duursma + 166,300
Scrimshaw + 164,700
Rozee + 154,200

winner winner chicken dinner if you had all 8 onfield

Hore + 142,700 from 4 games
Gibbons + 130,800
Petrucelle + 125,500
Collins + 122,700
Atkins + 119,600
Stack 115,800 from 4 games
Parker + 107,800

I guess this is the issue when those on the bench are slow earners or dissapear too quickly , hello Scott

If only we could field the highest dollar earning rookies (after Round 6) on our benches and use them purely for $$$ generation
