Of the Magpies’ young players, Pendlebury named two who have started to make the transition from rookies into established players.

Isaac Quaynor (Def $261,700) off half-back has been really exciting,” he said.

“These guys now in third, fourth, fifth pre-seasons with leg weights, running, they turn from teenagers into men quickly and it sort of happens before you know it.

Tyler Brown (Mid $123,900)is another one who three weeks ago looked like a little kid and now he looks like a full grown man, he’s got the shoulders and biceps and he’s huge now.

“I’m looking forward to see what all those young guys can deliver this year.”

Really Excited as a Collingwood Supporter on the Potential the two lads mention. Most of the Talk about the vacant mid spot has been centered around Wells and Sier, Tyler could get the chocolates RD1. On Quaynor, i would be more surpise if he was not named RD1. CMON THE PIES.

That might be the best way , hopefully Xerri is actually named for Round 1 and plays well enough to make some $$$.
Have heard Brown and Zurhaar are struggling with niggles.? Any North supporters that can fill in the blanks.

I got no idea to be honest anymore , every 5 minutes their seems to be a new must have player , and we still have 13 games to go ?

$ 10 mill for 30 spots , people want to start 75+ players.

If Xerri is named Round 1 , I might play him onfield at F6 and keep Comden as well or is that a waste.

I guess Xerri could cover Gawn if he is a late out (surely if he travels he plays) instead of going down to Naitanui.

Too confused to think straight
Yeap Information overload. I recently compared my original team to my current team. Gezz what a mess. Have gone back to the original, and will change up rookies as they appear. Petracca and Rozee will consider one.?

Quaynor was a highly rated academy recruit and I liked what I saw from him last year. The Pies looking at him to be our run and carry backline player, so yeah, I would not be surprised if he is named Rd1.

If Sier performs well in the preseason games, then I think the midfield spot is his.

Dusty looks surprisingly in good nick from that picture above...
I've picked up a couple of little comments here and there which hint to Dusty being in better shape than last year but have also seen a few suggesting he will be more forward so I'm hoping a preseason game might clear up the confusion.
I'm disappointed Pickett hasn't gone for the Catoggio fro.

I just like changing my team way too much, and then see other peoples teams and think mm why are they picking him instead of the player I picked ?

Then stop falling for every hype Marsh player and trying to put him in my team, Membrey, Rozee, Greenwood, Petracca 13 more games to go, see how many more we can get ?

Will eventually go back to my fixed rucks , 9 2019 Draft roookies + Bonar , work out a bench (hopefully) and then fill in the rest

It is fun trying different teams out though :)

That's very interesting, when I was playing around with the likes of Birchall/Lukosius/Doedee/Roberton , I noticed Quaynor and The Canon and CJ & Hartley.

Yeah, I tried a team with both Rozee & Tracca...was too unbalanced. Most likely I will just start with the one. Will also be leaving a reasonable amount of cash aside this year for any corrections needed come RD3.

I don't see Tracca hurting anyone without him to start, with the Eagles and Giants first up. So a wait and see probably wouldn't hurt. However if there's ever a time to upset the Eagles at home it would be the first round...so you would expect the D's to be well up for the opening game....which could translate to an excellent score from Tracca but might be brought back down to earth the following week........maybe.

It's like a puzzle with so many combinations and comparisons between two sets of two players on opposing lines. It's extra fun when you put together a team with $0 in the bank.....you think you've cracked it ! ...until you come to your senses and realize your broke.:D

Yeah, you could be right.
In the past with Rd 3, I found that I usually use up my 2 trades on correcting my Rookies. To pounce on the ones that about to have a big price increase.

hahaha I lost my $ 0.00 remaining side

that's a great point about opposing lines and similar priced players , eg Heeney & Sicily, all thinks being equal Henney should be a Top 6 forward but will Sicily be a top 6 defender ?

even with Bonar & Anderson being the same price, Bonar looks good in my forward line, but not sure on Anderson in my mids

Anderson can be swapped for Stephens or Serong at the similar price (Easier to go down than find cash)

Been suggesting that for awhile now hence why I have all of Rowell , Anderson , Stephens , Serong , Green , Stephens & Pickett so once the rookies are finalised I can make adjustments and hopefully find a 13th starting premium

Did the state of origin game clear anything up for you?

Any Bombers fan got any intel on Mosquito's prospect...?
Unlikely for R1 but very exciting to watch and hoping he can get a debut during the season. Not as skinny as last season but I think still a way off from being a regular in the best 22. Perhaps a Fantasia replacement once Fantasia finishes his contract
