Hope it's not David, he has actually become my favourite player to watch. Not because I like him per se as a person, but because he makes the show interesting. I even now love hearing the over the top way he talks.

Seem to be getting a mixed bag of either decent to good episodes to some very average boring episodes to this series. Thought last one's was boring, the editors tried their best to give it some life, but only would have been a better episode IMO if Zac & Lee flipped. I can see either Zac or Lee getting to the end with the help of winning some immunities but think both would lose in the final tribal council.

The promo is making it look like someone gets injured. Can’t see David or Shonee in the group that are upset - though I am sure it has been edited that way, so who knows really who it might be.
My interpretation of it is that someone has received some bad news from home. From what I gather, it may have been the passing of Lee's mum last September as the filming dates of All Stars was around that time.

Poor Lee. Sucks to go out that way, guess it explains why he didn't get much of an edit this season.

It was a bit awkward all the family mentions from Lee early on this episode when you know about his mum.

This challenge looks tough.

That’s true re the edit.

You’d like to think the producers would give him another crack in a future series.

Kinda would like for them to vote David to exile and then he comes back with a vengeance again and work with diff ppl to make it to the top.

Like that twist. Normally not a fan of Exile, but it is much more interesting with so many involved rather than just two.

Interesting the minority all chose Moana. They didn't show Shonee/Brooke/AK discussing it, but they must have at some point.

Get the feeling it will be one of the majority alliance that goes, otherwise it's a bit of a failure of a twist anyway. Doubt it'll be Mo, but could be.

Agreed, they must have discussed Mo, and I think it was the smart move. She’s pretty poor in challenges, so it’s a good chance to both save yourself and potentially get her, plus it could destabilize her alliance. Plus she’d be absolutely filthy at the news, so she’d be a ripping person to share that time with :p

The one thing I’m not sure about is why you need six people to go to exile just to eliminate one.

I think it was a decision by the producers to spice it up. They could obviously see that the six were unlikely to split and the next few tribals/episodes would be fairly boring.

This 3/3 exile thing essentially forces the six to divide next episode, and hence make it easier for them to create storylines and more compelling TV for the viewers.

I actually think it will be AK that goes home unfortunately. He is probably one of the worst at challenges I have ever seen.

However, I decided to do some digging on his socials and found out that he blew out both his knees filming the promos a day before Day 1 which he says has hurt his chances at being competitive in challenges.

This is true - although if they’d only had 4 return out of the 6 that could have been more effective (and arguably would have made sense, given it’s two tribals worth of voting to get them all there ... maybe they are also slowing things down, given Lee’s unexpected departure).

AK is pretty decent at puzzles from memory, and he can throw well - so he’s a chance to come first on one of those and save himself, if that’s the structure (which I assume it will be - ie volatility is good, not bad).

Moana is pretty consistently poor form what I recall, except maybe for things like the basketball one today where a combo of decent strength and some skill might be required (that one being one on one vs another female participant, which I suspect won’t be the structure on exile - my guess is it will be 6 individuals competing all against each other, then 5 on a different challenge, and so on).

I quite like the memory ones and those that test how much people have bothered to get to know their fellow tribe mates. Someone like Shonee would be great at that, although it depends on how much time she’s had with the people she’s up against.

Another balance challenge!

Some players who aren’t that physically strong would be within their rights to be a bit annoyed at the sequencing of the challenges.
