I’ll be very surprised if we get any games of footy in the near future. Big hole to fill on the weekends.

Good opportunity to get to know the missus, she seems nice from all reports.
Would give me plenty of time to find a new missus, before she finds out I am not emotionally available from Thursdays to Sundays.

A Wednesday afternoon AFL Commission meeting will determine whether Round 1 goes ahead or not.
What are peoples' thoughts on some of these 'unsexy' selections? Lewis Jetta (def), Jed Anderson, Chris Mayne, Josh Daicos (mids), Jy Simpkin and Brett Bewley (fwds)...

Anyone got any others no one's really talking about...?
Zac Bailey , Long & Lukosious are 3 I have been looking at.

LDU/Simpkin/Thomas are just a matter whether they break out this season or next.

Bewley could be of interest if he gets the wing spot.

Haven't really looked at the others on your list.

Yes to both. One Brayshaw is not making my team again after last year, but may still lock in another one. I'm probably crazy for even contemplating it.

Haven't touched my team since the weekend, normally I'd be changing it multiple times a day at this stage with every team announcement. Still think it odd the AFL will likely be going ahead, surely it's more than 100 people in the one area, but just have zero excitement level for the AFL right now, knowing it's a compromised season at best.
I actually just cleared and saved my team as I feel the need to throw out any bias there might be in my thinking based on previous predictions for the season and start picking afresh based on what we know now.

Of course whether I actually do so will be dictated by what happens over the next hour or so.

LUD isn't breaking out of anything any time soon with his OP just in case you missed it.

Yeah, i like the look of both Bailey and Long, love the way Bailey goes about it..

I think Bewley has a lock on a wing spot to start.

Won't be LDU he's out for awhile. I can see Bonar and Sympkin gettin alot of North mid minutes if they manage Higgins,Cunnington,Ziebell week to week 1 or 2 of those may play more as a fwd 1 week without being totally left out of the side

Jack Steven being out has left my structure in shambles. Lynch gets locked in tomorrow night which makes it tricky to choose him.

Almost wouldn't mind the AFL to delay the season to put me out of my misery :ROFLMAO:
easier just to keep in , sure he will re ready in June for Round 2/3

just place him as a onfield mid to get a free look at Pickett.

Any thought's on Ward starting round 1 now given he can't play it safe in Neafl for a month? They may even give him 2 months extra recovery and wait for Reserve's games again.
