Current scaling is such a throwback to the scaling we used to have where Cyril scored tons off like 7 touches and some tackles and subs could score 40 points for kicking the matchwinner.
There should be royal commission put together to look into how Sturt tonned up in that game. Scaling is out of control and we're now entirely at the mercy of the SC button pushers more than ever before.
Your Mathematics classes would have taught you all the problem solving, logic and statistical knowledge you need to work out what is now happening. But let's tack it on to the Royal Commission into Toilet Paper.
No evidence as yet but I have sneaky suspicion that players from winning sides will score more this season. Only reason I have for scores like Heeney and Shiel...!
Following on from this, I think we've got to treat winning margins with the same 20% increase to keep it comparable to if it were a normal game time wise. Using this 20% increase, Collingwood's 52 point win becomes a 62 point win. Port's 47 point win becomes a 56 point win. The scoring difference between winning and losing teams makes more sense when you treat it like this.
Will take 200+ from Houston and Rozee, so can't be too mad.. MacPherson over Greenwood hurts though... swings and roundabouts.. also very honourable mention to Fort ??
