Tuesday today, so what about a Tuesday song? Songs that are about Tuesday or have Tuesday in the lyrics.
Hmmm, I can only think of one that I really like, 'Ruby Tuesday'. Melanie Safka's version is one I like:
I came across it back in the day because it features two members of one of my favorite bands Tool... It has Danny Carey on drums, and Maynard James Keenan singing the "Not by the hair of my chinny, chin, chin!" part.
Yeah I've been listening to quite a lot as well, I like the effort everyone is going to, to post the music they enjoy.
Most of the stuff I'm posting is from bands people likely have never heard of and likely would never come across. I'd say a fair majority of the stuff I like to listen too is like this... Definitely not top 40 kind of stuff (not that there's anything wrong with that, lol), and mainly from bands that feature incredible musicians.
If someone finds some new music they enjoy from the stuff I post... That's fantastic!!
I'm trying to think of a song to play tomorrow that is about Wednesday, or have Wednesday in the lyrics, but can't think of one, hmmm.
I'll sleep on it now and wait for an inspiration.
Here's what I've been listening to today... Another "Supergroup" featuring Mike Portnoy (Dream Theater), Casey McPherson (Alpha Rev), Neal Morse (Spock's Beard), Dave LaRue (Dixie Dregs) and the amazing Steve Morse (Deep Purple) on guitar. Pretty easy listening stuff from these guys but still has a prog rock influence. Lots of vocal harmonies too which I love.

A hump day song. Not one of my favourite Simon and Garfunkel songs, but I like the sound.
Wednesday Morning, 3 A.M. is the debut studio album by American folk rock duo Simon & Garfunkel. Following their early gig as "Tom and Jerry".
The album was initially unsuccessful, so Paul Simon moved to London, England, and Art Garfunkel continued his studies at Columbia University in his native New York City, before reuniting with Simon in late 1965. Wednesday Morning, 3 A.M. was re-released in January 1966 (to capitalize on their newly found radio success because of the overdubbing of the song "The Sound of Silence" in June 1965, adding electric guitars, bass guitar and a drum kit), and reached No. 30 on the Billboard 200. It was belatedly released in the UK two years later (in 1968) in both mono and stereo formats.
