Yeah the AFL stats are much better these last couple of years, they are hidden a little and take a bit of getting used to in navigating but I like the site now.

Trap? 90av out of the question?
Very intrigued and can hopefully be a solid stepping stone in the fwd line, a means to avoid a rookie score or facilitating other upgrades via a downgrade to a Rankine, etc in the coming rounds if his position is in jeopardy.

RD1 VS GWS:
Hitouts: 24
Hitouts To Advantage (HTA): 10
HTA%: 41.7%
Ruck Contests: 53
Hitout Win%: 45.3%
Disposals: 8
Contested Possessions: 6
Disposal Efficiency: 37.5%
Time On Ground%: 83
SC= 94

2019:
11 HTA from 3 games and 37 Hitouts at a HTA% of 29.7%.

Interesting month ahead Hawks,Blues,Demons,Suns. I can see him holding spot for 2 rounds and they may end up playing Stanley against Gawn.

Thank you kind sir ?. I'm leaning towards Greenwood over Heeney due to greater mid time and his high CP rate.
I'm bringing in Greenwood over Heeney for the same reasons. He should be a full time mid at Gold Coast and his supercoach scores have been impacted by his lack of gametime due to his inability to run out games. Shorter quarters means a higher game time percentage. Also... he is cheaper and we have missed Heeney's big score.

Agreed. Can see a few low games with Heeney playing deep to come. The extra $50k from Greenwood over Heeney will be handy in fixing rookie mistakes for myself

Am I the only one who thinks Heeney is a far better forward than midfielder.

Wouldn‘t read much into him playing forward tbh, he will score just fine.
Another aspect garnering little attention, is his current price ($510,700).
Since 2018- 8/44 rounds below $450,000
Avg since 2017 (inc RD1 2020): 97.16 from 62

Shouldn’t be a large disappointment at his current price (for output) and potentially a safer option if willing to pay an extra $50,000 to $100,000 in comparison to the options in the mid to low $400,000 range.

Some good points made. Is definitely the safer option. I think we often (or just me) tend to think players of Heeney's size and potential must play mid to score well enough. If the game stays fast paced like round 1 it will suit him to a T.

Funny enough i picked Whitfield over Heeney to start as he had that wrist injury right up until the start of season.
