If I had the cash I would bring in Lachie Neale (658,500), one option would be downgrade Doedee to Young, however, if Doedee is named I feel he has better job security. Last year I kept meaning to get in the 'Human Meatball' and never did, so here is my perfect chance.

I still have to configure a trade to remove Cavarra from my side
Easy option is Georgiades.

Hippothetically, if say for example Cavarra is selected to play in round 2, would it still be wise to use a trade for a better first round rookie like a Sturt or just hope for a flip flop in scores round 2?
It's a bit of a no brainier trading out a non selected rookie for a selected rookie, but not so much when they're both re-selected , if you get my drift!

If it were to happen, I think I would rather go down on someone else who you have had second thoughts about and go up on another line if u really like someone you missed.
For example I'm questioning if Whitfield is worth the 600k. Go down to Sturt and grab someone like Neale for Green if not named.

I think, where possible, it would be best to hold any rookies who hold their spot round 2 and trade a rookie who doesn’t get named instead.

CBA 19 and 17 in pre season.? Disposals 24 & 32..... has got me thinking.? But a
I've been bullish on him for years. My only concern with him wanting to play more midfield and establish himself as one, then he's competing with Heppell, Merrett, Shiel and potentially Smith/Stringer in there too... I'm currently 50/50 on him..[/QUOTE
but just to confirm you can trade in.?provide team has not already played.
