Well another complete mess up by the refs. Manly fans ripped off with a howler, then In the second game a beautiful cross field kick hits maarsters flush on the chest and cross crosses the line for a try to be denied by the video ref. I reckon the game is rigged.

Considering I owned the combo in the 2nd game (Drinkwater to Marsters) i was pretty miffed at that decision.

Looking like a low scoring round. Massive contrast to last round.

Great score. Currently on 1059 (updates to come) which I’m very happy with considering Taumalolo, Fifita and Hess were all injured and missing from my 17.

Hopefully I can muster sufficient cash to grab Cleary to replace Drinkwater via the downgrade of Bradley to H Grant but it looks likely that I’ll fall a couple of grand short.

I think anything above 1050 should see a rise in rankings for anyone outside 6-7k ranking. Ponga going large might have helped quite a few who took the chance of captaining him.

Moved up to 2,369 overall

Thinking of going bold this week, downgrading two players and going in to the week with 900k in the bank.

Out: Cameron Smith and Lomax
In: Harry Grant and Best

Likely move to get Smith back in a few weeks once breakevens flatten. Gives me a crack at next 2 weeks with 3 upgrades one downgrade.

I would keep Smith and look to make other moves.

Food for thought! Thank you and will have a look.. you obviously don't believe Grant is a must have? I simply saw 200-300k easy money with potentially minimal points lost.

As you have seen rookie coach here, cost myself plenty of points not realizing reserves counted!
