I'm flicking him.

Using his cash to restructure my woeful defense from 2 premos to 4 premos. No more McAsey & BZT.

I really like Callan Ward over Viney as Viney needs to punch out a few 100's to get to Ward's price, roughly speaking. Ward has a prem scoring history & been playing well in match sim.

Saves me a trade later on too moving Viney to a legit keeper.

In saying that, I already have Andy McGrath at M5, so my M7 & M8 by season's end will be Ward and McGrath (all going well injury-wise), so not the strongest midfield.
C Ward:
Games played between 2011 to 2018: 171
Possible games played between 2011 to 2018: 176

Avg between the aforementioned period: 102.62 from 171 (32/171 below 80, 76/171 below 100, 41/171 120+)

Question marks of Geo and Sturt playing. Also, if Hogan plays, Sturt value may diminish, although still no choice to bring him in if playing.

That could leave just one trade to cover Naismith - Pittonet vs Darcy

Bont coud go to Neale (save choice) or Wingard/Petracca, combined with a Darcy in the ruck (for Roberton) allowing Hurn to come in for BZT.

Thoughts?
Love the Hurn pick

Bont > Neale
Zerk > Hill
Green > Bennell
Brayshaw > Ceglar
Cavarra > Sturt

Anyone care to lend me a couple of trades? Need to work out which of the above 2 ideas to can.

I'm hoping Sturt, Bennell & Hill (plus Hayden Young) all miss selection this week to save me this headache. It's a realistic chance I reckon.

Here's a few of my thoughts...

Doedee --> Roberton, could possibly wait a week, a chance to reassess Roberton and get a first up look at Doedee coming off very little footy.

Bontempelli ---> Neale, like it.

Zerk-Thatcher ---> Hill, wait on teams, still a chance BZT holds his spot if they look to use Hooker forward. Hill probably no guarantee to play, real wait and see.

Green ---> Bennell, some talk last night that the Dees might look to hold Bennell off, and give him a scratch match against the Blues on the weekend before bringing him into the seniors. If they do play him, don't mind the move given lack of other MID rookie options to trade Green to.

Brayshaw ---> Cegalr, like it.

Cavarra ---> Sturt, like it provided Sturt is selected this week.

Thanks mate. Bont > Neale, Brayshaw > Ceglar and Cavarra > Sturt would require ~70k so i'll need a downgrade somewhere. Really tricky spot I'm in now thanks to Naismith news.

What are people doing with Mitch Georgiades if he's out with that strained calf? Hold or trade?
If I can, I'll look to hold.
Depends on who else goes missing up forward.
Planning on Cavarra > Sturt , and keeping Taylor, Geo & King but I need 2 of them on the park.

Thinking this round trying Column 1 ins and 2 outs: 1591750906089.png

I am concerned Heppell will badly impact the scoring of Townsend this round?

Honest as the day is long.
Very much doubt he averages 100+ coming back from an ACL.

GWS don't even need him in the midfield so they probably take a cautious approach with him.

Also a 30% chance to tear another ACL in the first 12 months upon return.

I would avoid him in Supercoach.

From AFL.com.au
HARLEY Bennell will play his first AFL game since 2017 after being selected by Melbourne for this week's clash with Carlton.

The talented former Suns and Dockers midfielder was congratulated at Demons training on Wednesday as a confirmed starter this week.

The Demons also confirmed that last year's No.3 pick Luke Jackson and running half-back Trent Rivers will also make their respective AFL debuts against the Blues
