Getting Pittonet is very tempting but it may impact my onfield points. I will need Darcy Cameron scoring 70 each week on field. I think he has done enough to keep his spot over Cox but it does make me nervous. I may have to miss out unfortunately

Initial thoughts Ceglar and Noble/Doedee to Howe/Sturt (I have Rivers, Bennell, Cameron)

Just been thinking that with less rounds and the perceived cash gen problems I might look for maybe some sub premo's to complete my team rather than run out of trades continually rolling through the rookies

So to use him as R2 and IF he can maintain a average of 100 up to Round 8 would still need about $ 225k to get him to Gawn ?
If Gawn stays at $700,000 until RD8?

Assume most with Pittonet are running Naismith or Jacobs so finding the cash to upgrade to Gawn shouldn't be an issue as long as both stay healthy.

If Pittonet is going to score 100s then he could be one of the best cash cows. So you have to look at bringing him in right, even if he is going to sit at R3?

After that I have another trade to bring in another cow, D Cameron or Sturt probably.

True

Gawn might be well and truly gone past $ 800 k then ?

I brought Jacobs in for Naismith today so will see how that goes up against Goldy.

Hopefully Naismith is not back next week or I could do something very stupid and trade Grundy out ? for both Naismith & Pittonet.

Depends on team selections for Round 3 I guess.

Could Pittonet be trusted as a R2 ?

Fixing the rucks a priority this week after finding the extra cash. Gawn a priority now that he has had time to mend from injury prior to week 1.

If Jacobs can gain more than 7000........

Jacobs a wasted trade by the looks of it

Yeah I have Laird who’s only scored 20 pts more than Houston. Trading Laird hadn’t crossed my mind.

I think if you don’t have all of Pittonet, Cameron, Rivers and Bennell, and you also have non-playing rookies, you should prioritize a rookie sideswap over a luxury premo trade.
This was my thinking as well.

Even the bonus ruck points don’t seem that consistent (they don’t seem to apply to every game), so I think switching premiums would ideally be done once we have a bit more evidence of changes in game style and/or SC scoring approach. Cash is obviously a consideration, but outside of a Viney situation, the rookies will generally give the biggest cash gain opportunity.

Jacobs - > Pittonet

should have just brought Pittonet in this round , was too worried he would score 50-60 against Gawn , so Jacobs scores that anyway......gotta laugh

EDIT

I blame Naismith , the original plan was to rotate he & Sauce at R2 according to fixture , so Sauce would have been benched v Goldy , oh well.

Anyone think Rozee could be a top 8 fwd this year?
Yes. I brought him in this week
Yeah I think Rozee will be a clear top 6 fwd, match winners would benefit from shorter games. I will need to pay 500k+ for him, I always struggle with 2nd year breakouts so just couldn’t bring him in after only one game. Now have to prioritize rookies.
C Rozee (Fwd) - $422,100 - Rnd 1 SC 125 - BE 35
Rnd 2 SC 145 - New Price $470,500 (+$48,400) - BE -2

Those without Neale, what are you doing?

This is the second year in a row I've let this happen. Not impressed with myself....
Currently have Hannebery occupying M6 and he will likely serve as the avenue to Neale once sufficient cash is raised by rookies, so I will look to target Neale around RD6-RD8.

Worst thing you can do now is chase him. Keep working on your team. Que sera sera.
Neale (Mid) - $658,500 - Rnd 1 SC 157 - BE 94
Rnd 2 SC 171 - New Price $692,400 (+$33,900) - BE 66
