Happy i went Benell and Rivers early.

Only way to get Gawn is to go Macrae down to basically a rookie - Anderson or Jong and trade up from Jacobs.

Jacobs a frustrating one - had an amazing round 1 and then stunk it. What score is reflective of his potential? Maybe he just had a bad game, as most of the Giants did.

Or in a short season one bad score can see you out the door, is Jacobs to Pittonet and Macrae to Fyfe with $150k a better option.

How long is Kruzer out for?
AFL site lists Kruzer as 5-6 weeks

Wanted to get some opinions for the below options I'm considering.

Houston to Howe straight swap (worried about this as I'm not sure Howe is a season keeper and if he can maintain at least a 105 average)
Cavarra to Sturt (if named)
T.Green to D.Cameron (if named) via Budarick to mids

Can only go with 2 of the above as we're back to 2 trades this week. Dam I'm thinking I should've got Cameron last week instead now as I only used 3 outta the 5 trades..

1 - Xerri to Pittonet
2 - Potential downgrade to Sturt (if named)
Have Cameron, Rivers, Bennell already

Otherwise possibly/undecided - Macrae to Petracca (bank 180k in the bank)

Cant wait for everyone to trade macrae out and bevo comes to his senses this week and he is on the ball all game
Thoughts on the chances of this happening?

Would of thought Bevo would make the switch at half time, instead he did for one centre bounce then through Jack forward.

Also, anyone thinking of trading Doedee right back out again?
Yes i am considering it for a few reasons...... The crows look baaaaad and he will score well from intercept marks. I am worried that our midfield is so rubbish the ball will be coming in with no pressure so less chance for intercepts. He also isn't the guy that gets in the +6 chain of possessions so I am worried he was just a bad pick. he aligned well with all my other trades which were great (Gawn, Neal, Rivers, Bennell) ao I really don't regret the punt given all the extra trades available this year. He also holds some value of which I don't have much at the moment so if there was a way that I can use that value then I will take it.

All that said at this stage I have noble (shaky JS) and BZT in my backline so I may have other priorities.
For me one of Doedee, Noble or BZT will likely become Howe this week and Ceglar will likely become Sturt. Missing Pittonet is the spanner for me though.

So I have all the DEF rookies that look even ok at this point already in my backline (Rivers, Starc, Brander and Noble). I'd love to move on Cumming from D4 for Pittonet DPP but there's no one to fill the spot, so I guess he stays :cautious:.

I don't have enough cash to go straight from a Tom Green type to Pittonet either, so if I want him in (as a cash making R3) then it has to be for a forward. Seriously considering trading out Whitfield, as he really doesn't look like he will burn me at 600k. Means I jump on the two lowest BEs this week (Pittonet and Sturt/D Cameron probably) and turn Cumming or Noble into a premo D1 next week (Lloyd or Stewart).

Too much blowing up my side chasing $$$? There is a point where it makes sense, and then a point where it is too far .

I don't know if I'd be trading out a likely top 2-3 forward, especially considering he hasn't shown any signs of not performing (i.e. positional change, 2 poor scores in a row, etc)

With the shorter season (and therefore more trades per round) and quicker price fluctuations, you might find there are more chances to make cash throughout the season and missing one potential pig isn't the end of the world.

That's my 2 cents anyway. I wouldn't be compromising your team just for 1 player

*What I should do:
Naismith (if not named) to Pittonet
Cavarra to D Cameron or Sturt
*What I want to do:
Grundy to Pittonet
Cavarra to Rozee or Green to Fyfe

Not even I know what choice will be made by the weekend ?
I'm loving how this season is making the absurb seem entirely plausible! It's pretty much a case of whatever you do in a normal season, do the opposite this season.

Feels like trading Grundy out would be beyond absurd though.
Pittonet, Sturt and Cameron look to be 3 of the best rookies this year in terms of making money and DPP swing with Cameron so if all named I'll have to grab 2 of them

Thanks bloke, that's a really good point about the quick price fluctuations. Could be lots of chances to gain some cash by working some trades so may just correct the dumped rookies for playing ones instead.

Who is your current R3 ?

Can you work Cumming - > Williams (WCE) somehow ? and then bring in Pittonet ?

I'm think of going De Goey- Petracca/Rozee/Simpkin and BZT- D Cameron
The only issue is that De Goey's getting a good amount of midfield time, but if he's not scoring it doesn't matter much. Noble and Doedee are obviously potential issues as well but I'll wait a week there if Noble doesn't get dropped.

I figured Doedee's 82 average in his first season should mean he's a reasonably safe option. Surely he can't be that bad every week.

Grundy to Pittonet would be worth very serious consideration if you could immediately use the case to upgrade 2 x $ 250 onfield rookies immediately to 2 x $ 500 premiums

Interesting
