Could do with some thoughts before tonights game...

Worried that Georgiades doesn't make that Port side.

Option 1.
Conroy ---> Pittonet
Townsend ---> Sturt
** If NO Georgiades then cop a '0'.

Option 2.
Conroy ---> Pittonet
Dusty ---> Sturt
** If NO Georgiades then then 6 playing FWDs, no donut.

Option 3.
Davis ---> Cameron
Townsend ---> Sturt
** Or Georgiades traded instead of Davis or Townsend
** If NO Georgiades then then 6 playing FWDs, no donut. No Pittonet or Dusty.

Real make or break decision here.
That is tough but a donut this early would be hard to take. Any port Intel on their bigfooty site? I lean towards option 3 as they are both solid rookie options

Cavarra -> Sturt
Naitanui-> Pittonet

Frees up cash for upgrades next week/week after depending on any further necessary rookies. Still need Bennell if he still looks the goods after this week, plus any other must haves debuting this round.

Injuries to Martin and Greene, plus carrying Naismith is not nice, but think I just need to suck it up this week. Add in players not in form and I could have another low score unfortunately.
I was mulling over Nic Nat as well - does Stef being out and an angry West Coast coming up against a Lions outfit that just barely fell over the line against a young-ish Dockers outfit affect your thinking at all?

I'm flush with rookies / cash cows at the moment, but NicNat is the only way I'm bringing in Pittonet unless I give up on Naismith too early.

Not sure the best way to get 2 of Pittonet, Sturt and Cameron in this week.
Davis not playing so he is one to go. Comben my only C loop atm, everyone else playing except for Davis.
Got Budarick, Rivers in mids and Brander, Starcevich in defence to swing.
Any advice? cheers.

I think you might have to skip Pittonet, and maybe dump Long if you really want Sturt and Cameron.

Conroy to Pittonet?
Geo to Cameron/Sturt?

Does that give you 6 forwards this week?

I pretty much need the cash gain from Pittonet. I have to trade out Jacobs or Naitanui to get him (Naismith my 3rd ruck). Yes my rucks are costing me a lot of points.

Decided Naitanui has less to gain, higher BE, I expect both to have similar averages and will get more cash by trading Naitanui. Naitanui may score more this round, true, but I expect Jacobs to bounce back.

...I'll probably regret it.

My team is ****e - can't move on any of the dead wood like Macrae, Houston and Bont, will just hold Martin and bring in Sturt and Cameron for non-playing rookies and crawl into the foetal position and sob
I think Houston will end up Defender role as they didn't include a Defender. Wines probably comes in for Burton and fill Houston mid role.

I don't mind it but it really depends on team balance and dead rookies you have elsewhere. If you e.g. have Cavarra wasting away up fwd, I think Cavarra to Sturt would be a bigger priority than Naismith to Pittonent.
The only other dead rookie that I have is Comben but that means losing my R3 loop and having Grundy R1 with Pitt/Naismith jostling for R2.
Not ideal.

Someone will replace Comben next week probably in ur side by being omitted so just back in a Captain for 1 week.

Locked in Doedee to Pittonet

Might pass on Cameron because I have every other good rookie, and not sure who to move him on for. Only option would be Bewley but still think he might come good with a big score or 2

Just took the leap on Dusty to Zerrett via Devon. Let's see if it pays off this week.

Other potential move is NicNat to Pittonet - not sure if I need another cash cow though with Noble, Brander, Starcevich, Rivers, Rowell, Marlion, Bennell, TBrown, Budarick, Hibberd, Naismith, Curtis, Sturt, King and Cameron (that's a bloody long list).

Would anyone else contemplate losing their mind a little (more) and chase another cash cow at this point?
