Back for a bit more trade advice
Got a rough idea of which preference i'm leaning towards but would be good to get some 2nd thoughts
Options for this week are;
1. Cavarra - Sturt: Just the one trade of a non-playing rookie to one with seemingly good job security. Don't see Cavarra returning soon, unfortunately fall 10k of Houston - Howe if I make this trade.
2. Noble/Houston - S.Hill/Howe: I think Noble only has room for about 50-70k more growth. Hill has good job security, arguably better scoring potential but poses an injury risk. Allows me to get Howe and chop Houston who i've lost all faith in. This option forgoes Sturt.
3. T.Brown/Houston - Sturt/Howe: Similar to the above option but i get Sturt who already has a 100 score behind him. Would mean i play Sturt over Mcinerney or Bennell this week. Similiar to above, i think T.Brown has room to grow but i think he will increase by about 100-120k more. However he could put in a poor showing this week and get dropped next week. A non-playing M11 wouldn't be a disaster as it gives me the option to loop. A part of me believes Sturt's score was a bit flukish, but he has GC and Adelaide after Port so fairly confident he can hit 300k and make 170k. Say Brown grows 120k more, i'm effectively using a trade for a gain of only 50k to facilitate another trade. Not something i would do most years but this year is obviously different. Can have a look at Williamson and S.Hil with this option and potentially grab them for Cavarra & BZT via dpp
4.
BZT/Houston - Williamson/Howe: This option drops a non-playing rookie for a playing one so the risk of losing potential cash growth isn't there assuming BZT doesnt return soon. Williamson's JS is a bit shaky even with Newman injured and his scoring potential doesn't seem brilliant based off previous years. Getting rid of BZT also eliminates my captain and defence loop for the week.
Any thoughts much appreciated. I think the straight bat option is #3, #2 isn't far behind. Writing this has almost completed turned me off #4
