All week I've had in my mind that I'd go Houston and Greene to Sturt and someone like SPS, Andrews, or even blow the bank on Howe, but now I'm second and 3rd guessing.

It turns out Dawson's projected cash loss is about the same as Houston. Who should I prioritise for the axe?

I have a fair bit of flexibility to bring in players positionally. Should I prioritise Rozee over SPS and Andrews? How about over Howe? I know he won't maintain the current level, but he's shown himself to be a good scorer last year as well.

Should I just go another cash grab and go to Pittonet or Cameron?

Given the likely need to want to go to guys like Williamson (who I imagine has good JS with Newman out), Hill, Ash (I'd imagine worse JS), or even Serong next week should I prioritise going early on one of them.

Should I roll the dice on a POD 2nd week rookie like Young (if he makes the cut) or Vandermeer in the hope that they pull a big score this week and I have the cash jump on the field?

Really it shouldn't be this hard :)

Option A: Toby Greene > Simpkin/Rozee

Option B: Cavarra > Darcy Cameron

Option C: Tom Green > Bennell / Starcevich

Notable rookies that I don't have: Darcy Cameron, Bennell, Starcevich, Max King, Georgiadis.

Thoughts?

In that case I would be prioritizing getting your cash cows how you want them. Personally I’m most bullish on Bennell so I’d go that option.

You can always check prices and likely BEs for next week and work backwards from next week’s trades of course (eg Cameron could still be a viable in at that point). Personally I find this works well at this time of year because it accounts for the cash cow “pipeline”, which is super important in my view.

Everything out the window. Houston and Dawson survive.

Milera goes. Now I have less money, and 2 underperformers that I can't correct inmediately

Would it be too crazy to trade Houston and Milera for Ridley and Sturt? And have cash to make the Dawson correction next week alongside another move

Milera and Green for Ridley and Sturt, banking cash to fix the worst of Houston and Dawson next week

Or use all of the dollars and go Milera and Green for Howe and Sturt and have a better scorer but nothing left to fix my problems next week, (if I can get there, it would be close).

When in doubt select a bubble boy.
Hi Vicwood, first time poster so please forgive me if either someone else has asked this question or if its the wrong section. My question is do we now revert to the old 3 round averages as last year for pricechanges or are we still operating the same as R2 for price changes? eg Pittonet's price changes after R3 - is this correct? Are you able to assist please as I'm confused!

Hi

Players price changes after they have played their second game and every subsequent game played.

Would love to hear any thoughts on the above two scenarios. Don’t mind the idea of burying Naismith at R3 purely for cash, but also worry he won’t have a sole ruck role upon returning.

For me I would grab Williamson and Sturt and just fix the others next.

That's good news so no Pittonet for me this week as he has played only one game.
Thank you Herbie66.
Every player gets a one game look in before prices change using previous years average as their first score so game 1 is actually game 2. Game 3 (in season game 2) is where price will go up or down depending on their output. Now that we are into the point where players start playing their 3rd game is where the 3 game average reverts back to the old 3 game average price rise and not just an inputed number as their first game.

In simple words we only get a one game look in this year compared to 2 as years previous before prices change.
