My trading strategy is going to be trading out Victorian Team Players to Interstate Team Players

AFL: The AFL has today banned contact training for large groups for it's Victorian teams as they continue to battle Covid-19.

Looking at trading Kelly and Long out for Hugh Greenwood and Simpkin.
Means once I've eventually swung Greenwood fwd I'll have my 6 forwards (Dusty, Whitfield, Petracca, Ceglar, Simpkin, Greenwood) and my 2 rucks (Grundy & Gawn) locked in.
Then I'll try to pick off remaining Mids and Defs as they drop in price. That's the plan anyway

Once again, I don't understand why you think the close contact definition / guidelines displayed by both Victorian and Australian health departments are not relevant here? Why do you think your theories / opinion / "common sense" override the health department advice and clear messaging?
If you have any government and legislative information that isn't made public as to why the players will be held to a different definition of close contact, please share. Otherwise, I will stick to the official messaging and guidelines of close contact over your "common sense".
Training is going to be agonizingly scrutinised to determined which players came in to "close contact" with McKenna. Those players will be forced in to the 14 day quarantine. All in line with the health departments advice and consistent messaging.
It won't matter what a few people on online forums and social media think should happen, it won't matter if people keep retweeting him blowing his nose at training and it won't matter if people think the close contact definition changes from scenario to scenario
What will matter is that a) it is a confirmed test result and 2) Quarantine is imposed on all those individuals deemed to be a "close contact" as defined by the department and outlined by myself earlier.
The situation is fluid, and people are learning daily, so every chance rules and guidelines continue to be updated. However, in the current circumstance we can only go on the current policies in place.
I wouldn't be surprised if it is a number less than his whole bubble who get quarantined. It appears to be self interest of fear mongering for those claiming the whole squad should be deemed close contact!

As @aleceee pointed out, Dunkley is set for an extended time on the sidelines.
Unfortunately I think your trades would have been a good step forward, however you will have to action Dunkley now!
Glass half full view - it actually helps you achieve what you wanted.
Dunkley down to Simpkin or Petracca, you can now choose who you believe is the better option for the season.
Keep Taylor to ride out another couple of price rises and maximise this cow.

Excerpt from a member's update I just received to my email:
"The DHHS identified James Stewart as the only player who has been deemed as having close contact under the DHHS guidelines and James will be required to self-isolate for a 14-day period. After being re-tested on Monday afternoon, James pleasingly returned a negative result.
The club will continue to provide support to Conor and James through this period in preparation for when they return to the club and training with the playing group in 14 days' time.
In addition, all players and staff underwent testing on Monday and these results have all since returned negative."
