Big changes to sport in Queensland
We've just got a statement from the Queensland Chief Health Officer Jeannette Young, who's announced new measures for Queensland or Queensland-based sporting teams.

Dr Young says any Queensland or Queensland-based team who:

  • Plays against a Melbourne team in Queensland is required to quarantine after the match for 14 days; or
  • Plays in Melbourne is required to quarantine for 14 days on returning to Queensland, or
  • Plays in another state against a team who has been in Melbourne in the preceding 14 days is required to quarantine on their return to Queensland

I'm thinking

Out: Howe/Stewart
In: Ridley/Haynes

I do want to wait and see the extent of Fyfe's injury, sounding like 2-3 but obviously can't move all 3 on this week.

How long will a collarbone injury set you back for?

That'll seriously delay the season, unless Brisbane and Gold Coast stay out of QLD until the ruling changes. They can only play non-Vic sides for a few rounds.

The NT option doesn't look so bad now - neutral venue for everyone. Maybe Tassie too if they allow it.

i think he could be negatively impacted (need a better to player than me to answer that one) and not brave enough to go for Kolodjashnij
Yep that is what I was thinking.
Collingwood had a solid back six working well together and losing Howe will be a big loss which in turn may make things difficult for Maynard.
I am staying away

Great insight.

Does/will McKenna affect his role/scoring when he returns ?
Was concerned about the same thing slightly, then didn't have to worry about it!

Doubt it will impact much though. A side-effect of all the club talk about Mckenna wanting to play more forward, and them supporting that via playing him there in pre-season, indicates they are happy the current plan of Ridley being the main ball user from the back. And the longer he performs quite well in that role, I reckon the more likely the coaches will feel vindicated for their choice.

Might need to reset for 14 days and relocate every team.

Fyfe and Naismith to Simpkin and Ridley. No Simpkin is killing me.
Every week seem to change my mind just before lockout and subsequently regret the decisions. Has cost me Pittonet (twice) and Simpkin thus far

Might take a punt on him as my Stewart replacement

Interested to hear peoples thoughts on potential trade options.

Fyfe out for Tom Mitchell and Doedee out for Ridley..... or Fyfe out for Tom Mitchell and McGrath out for Dangerfield. I like McGrath but Danger won’t get any cheaper. Also Ridley has been great but have I missed the boat?

Does it mention if they are allowed to keep playing during their quarantine period similar to what will happen with the WA hub ?

I'm not sure what Doedee's BE is, but I'd be holding him for now.

Was always going to be up and down. Is certainly capable of a ton though so still has money to make.

FWIW I wouldn't be moving McGrath on either.
