Bont v MacRae v TMitch
T Mitchell likely to cop the De Boer tag this week. He has scored well against GWS the last couple of times but I don't think De Boer was putting the hard tag on him in either of those games.

Macrae is getting more mid time at the moment while Dunkley is out but it's likely he gets pushed out to a wing when Dunkley is back which we've seen has impacted his scoring.

Bont hasn't set the world on fire so far but he certainly returned to form on the weekend so hopefully he can continue that form. Has already copped the De Boer tag too which is a bonus. Also has a BE of only 69 so now is the time to jump on.

Bont for mine.

Mahony vs. Xerri ?

May have to go with one of these NTH guys depending on how teams drop tonight and which way I go on Fyfe.

Mahony 7 handballs out of his 8 touches last week. 5 touches in the first and one in each of the following three quarters. Only 1 tackle.
When Ziebell comes back does that push him out?

Was ok last week first up for a big man. Threw his weight around.
Larkey listed as 1-2 weeks on the injury report. Assume he may then need a week or two of scratch matches before coming back in?

Would love some thoughts from others.

Don't want either myself, but very small chance I may need to grab one too, pending teams. Slight preference for Xerri due to the ruck numbers boost this year, although he's probably not taking many ruck contests with Goldy in the team.

Hill and 1 of Wingard/ Mitchell/ Bont

vs

Saad/Ridley and Serong/Green + $305k

(Howe and Naismith out)
If it helps. I brought in Hill & Wingard myself.

Gives me enough cash for a double upgrade next wk.... Whitfield & someone else ( def, mid or ruck)

Ps. I already have titch & Bont tho

My mids are: Neale, Cripps, Macrae, Oliver, (Walters), Rowell, Starc., McInerney, Pickett, Hibberd, Bennell.

Walters would swing forward. Probably Titch or Bont seems the way to go.

(Edit: Woops, I missed Oliver in my mids list.

J Sicily VS C Daniel

Current def: S Docherty, ?, R Laird, L Ryan, T Doedee and B Starcevich

No cash constraints and will not heavily impact future trades.

Sicily gets a bit frustrating to own at times, he has quiet patches like the first half last week. Daniel is a bit more consistent. I would suggest Daniel.

Similar average, similar BE. Sicily does well against GWS normally. Both should be thereabouts top 10 defenders.
Go with gut, I would favour Daniel, just.

Go Sicily as Daniel won't have the roof to play under.

Thanks to all. Have brought in Sicily who I was narrowly favouring for the majority of the round over Daniel/Ridley and Daniel/Hurn will likely come in as the 5th def upgrade to replace Doedee/Starcevich/etc in the coming 3-5 rounds.

You had better not curse him now!
