Friggin hell, lost their way this innings. Turns out this score not going to be anywhere near what it had foundations to reach.
White and Hastings will do well now just to get within reach of 350ish.

fair to say, Warner is back in form. 197.. highest domestic one day score in Australia.... Can he make it 4 centuries in a row against Queensland in the final ?

I'm backing Ryan Harris to knock him over.

QLD Bulls win, 3 towering sixes to end the game which went into the last over.
Khawaja got 104 from 100 to be the man of the match and Cameron White won man of the series.

Ben Cutting took Hazelwood to the cleaners in the end. Usman Khwaja did his chances no harm. Maddinson finally score some runs for you Goodies, BUT, he dropped two crucial catches in both finals. Harris got Waner out cheap as I backed before the game. If he got off the leash like he did against the Vics I'm sure NSW would have been the title holders. Queensland younger brigade stepped up to the plate more than NSW ones.

I actually like the new format of a tournament for a month. Works well and now the players can get into 4 day games and see if they can push for selection for Test series. It seems weird the Australia one day team still has to be in India for another week whilst the Poms are already preparing for the Test series on our home soil.

I think it shows we are healthy for talent gearing up for next years World Cup here but as far as Test cricket it changes nothing.
We still have few stand out choices to pick a quality Test batting line-up.
Hopefully Sean Marsh takes his form into the Shield season and presses for Test selection.
Still totally unconvinced about Khawaja making it as a Test batsman.

Glad to see Lynn back in some form, albeit in one dayers. Had a hugely promising season a couple of years ago but has really faded in his Shield performances.

Warner should have been player of the tournament ahead of White. Three consecutive centuries is better than five 50s. I'm sure his strike rate would have been far higher too. That said good to see a Victorian get something over a NSW player.

Good to see Pup in the runs on the first day of shield cricket for the summer, 88 on return. Hopefully his dodgy back can hold up now.
Cam White also continued his good form with 83 for the Vics.

Personally I think Cam White not in the scene but George Bailey with 156 tonight, even though just another one dayer means he will be in the frame.
