Similar to all above: Haynes vs Maynard?
Same price, Haynes the better player (not that May is bad), but Maynard has kick-ins, which I think count for something (they certainly do for Lloyd at least).
I looked at Maynard myself this morning and almost immediately dismissed him from my thoughts based on his history and the fact that most players revert to the mean.
He has never finished a season with an average above 79.9 and before this season only scored 9 tons in 91 games.
There hasn't been a lot of mention here of Maynard compared to Haynes, but he seems a decent pick. Hasn't dropped below 100 yet. Haynes is coming off a big score against the Hawks - this one game boosted his average by about 10. I would choose Maynard for the consistency, but either should be a good choice.
Been looking as well, going Maynard.
Article this week how 5 of 6 best defender take kick in, Haynes the only one who is not.
Maynard taken the most kick ins, more so with Howe out of side, plays on a lot.
Consistent scorer across good forward lines, win or lose.
Haynes did well last week with a big last quarter, did he benefit from Mitch Lewis injury and Ceglar forward. Pre that game he was average 8 below Maynard.
Haynes meets the eye test, does look great. very fine line, if I could afford both this week I would, however, it is Ridley and one of these guys.
