Starc & Budarick to Rankine and Menegola

Next week:

Dusty and Taylor to Stuv and Baz

Probably a cash grab this week.
Starcevich > Rankine
Pittonet > Day/Simpson

Leaves me with $580k or more for double upgrade the following week. Probably 5 or 6spots from a full team (I'd be semi-happy with) then.. unless the usual carnage throws a curveball..

Aftee looking at my options I'm no closer to working out a) who is coming in, Rankine, Simpson, Day (better team balance, own Mcpherson), and who is going out: BZT, Starcevich, etc FMD list the teams already.

But looking at my team I have duds in Cameron (in Ruc), Xerri (in FWD), Rivers (in Mid) Brander (in Def) Mcinerney (in MID), could be a good time to offload one of them with Taylor a B/E of 46 surely can get close to that

These are the exact two trades I'm leaning towards at the moment.

Ceglar looks cooked and has Gawn this week. He just isn't a viable pick while he almost equally shares the ruck duties with McEvoy which he's done the last two weeks.

Injuries will likely play a role for me, as will the hopeful return of my decimated rookie stock.

In an ideal world there are one or two dud mid provers that is move on, but at least they are playing right now.

Ideally one of Noble/Rivers/Williams plays which allows me to go T Brown to Simpson and Starcevich to Rankine. There's no guarantee Starcevich plays but if he does it'll likely a be a choice between keeping him and a doughnut.

Would be annoying to have Brander back before Noble as I traded him over Noble.

Depending on inury outs & and possible ins like Sturt and Brander, I suspect its Starc to Day/Simpson/Rankine (via DPP's) and Pitt to Gawn.

I'll need to wait for teams, need at least one of Starc, Rivers, Noble and Brander to play to field a full team, otherwise will have to grab Day.

If I had my full team named, I would do something like:

Starc > Simpson (via Rivers DPP)
T Brown > Rankine (via Budarick DPP)

Have around 300k to play with.

Ceglar to Greenwood.
Starcevich to Ridley.
Missed the boat with Ridley but the lad keeps on scoring well. Just doesn't make mistakes.

Ceglar to Bailey Smith (still has high BE), getting loads of mid time.
Starcevich to Lloyd.

Not sure which way to go, these trades would leave me with only playing 3 rookies on field.

I think its probably a 50/50 call, I missed Ridley too, he seems to be red-lining it right now, not sure if it is sustainable, but having said that, his disposal has been first rate, so maybe he can keep going.

Probably B for me, without much confidence.

I watched the game and he was impressive, good attack on the footy off half-back and made good decisions with ball in hand.

Scrimshaw to come back as early as this week though but based on Fri night, would be surprised if he makes way.

He played really well. Laid a great tackle. I wish I had gone early on Rankine so I could take Simspon and Day.

Its Rookie roulette this week. Who to choose?

Rankin, FWD $76.9K increase.
Day, DEF $54.7K increase.
Simpson, Mid $49.7K increase.
McPherson, DEF $45.7K increase.

Spoilt for choice.

I think Rankin is number one and the other will depend on teams dropping. If I do 4 downgrades over the next two weeks I will have over a million in the bank to go shopping with.
