who should i loop and who should start on ground - King (saints) or Sturt
Go with King on ground. He'll get a favourable matchup against Cox who's been bullied by a few key forwards this season or Ryan who just isn't a key defender.

I guess we will need to choose one of them, right? Leaning toward the Chad due to Price (123,000), but Dylan (189,300) probably more secure, right?
Warner is the one most likely to make a quick impression / have an impact imo - kid is an absolute animal who just wins contested ball after contested ball which should be very SC friendly and I've been waiting on him for a while.

Can I ask your thoughts on McPherson’s job security and likely scoring please?

I am considering taking him ahead of the likes of Simpson, primarily because I understand his JS might be pretty good. He probably needs to average c. 50 to make it worthwhile though.
Sorry mate, I really can't offer any opinion on him, few links below may help.

Not so sure on his scoring history but he from the eye test he already looked like the best kick in our backline.
From a body perspective I would say that is a risk give he has struggled to get on the park until now.
Otherwise I can't see why they don't give him a good run of games

He is certainly one that I think is still gettable price wise with another week so I am considering him for R8 if he backs it up

SC is a bit of a lottery if the proposed fixture happens and rounds 9-12 are compressed.
I think a warm body is going to be more important than managing poor performing players.
I'm also looking to clear some dead wood, my assessment of the players you listed is:
1. Aarts - Hold unless he's dropped, then trade
2. D.Cameron - Trade, not getting game time
3. Rivers - if not recalled this week, put on the 'to be traded' list
4. Budarick - Hold unless he's dropped, then trade
5. Starcevich - Hold unless he's dropped, then trade
6. C.Taylor add to "keeping for now" list unless the knock last week causes him to miss games, then trade if required.
7. J.Brander - as he's injured, may come back, but trade if required,
8. J.McInerney - if not recalled this week, put on the 'to be traded' list
9. B.Davis - Trade, not getting game time
10. W.Gould - Trade, not getting game time

There's been unconfirmed chat that SC might go to a best 18 score for these rounds, as there will be some byes, in which case clearing dead wood might not be as important.
It's a strange season.

The compressed fixture might see some rookies we thought would play get rested, and ones we thought had lost their chance get a second go. It is definitely going to be a bit of a lottery with some planning thrown out the window - we will need to just ride the waves that come and assess week by week.

I thought he passed the eye test as well and would be pushing for him to play, our backline is probably the strongest line in the team and given last week we named Talia, Hartigan, Doedee, McAsey, Brown, Laird, Hamill, Smith (albeit a couple of those guys playing slightly different roles), I suspect he may have his work cut out for him playing the bulk of the rest of the games.

I am going to take Simpson as the 112 only requires one more good score this week to give a really big burst to price in such a short window. Don't think its without merit having the thought though.

From memory he had 5 touches in the 1st quarter and finished on 9, so not sure he's safe as houses, considering Atkins being available this week possibly pushing Smith to a back flank. Just have to wait for teams to drop.

I have to trade out one of McInerney and Rivers.

McInerney an Emergency this week. Rivers not, but has D/M link. I guess Rivers has to go.
