As someone who actually knows this bloke, scaremongering isn't in his nature. It's not like anyone on this forum has ever committed to a trade then changed their mind...
Agree, nothing wrong with that, it's just their role in the media that has a far greater reach that could influence decisions. I think it's only natural to review your changes closer to game time.

It would be good to know how long Ceglar will be out for. A broken toe says that it could be a while, so he may have to go.
He is a definite trade for mine. I was even comfortable moving him on before he got injured.

At this stage of the season, downgrading Ceglar is equivalent to 2 downgrades (Taylor > Simpson & Noble > Rankine generates roughly the same $$$ as Ceglar > Rankine)

Also, Ceglar's BE is 147 and he would have been playing Gawn this round. He only dropped $1,300, so his injury timing isn't too bad.

I now have Hayden Young out for a while to go with B long's 3 weeks out. They are queing up in my team to be traded out :)

Hawthorn playing funny buggers.

The Hawks are hopeful Jonathon Ceglar will be able to prove his fitness in time for Round 7 selection, after he sustained a minor crack in his toe during Hawthorn’s Round 6 loss to Collingwood.

According to GM-Football Graham Wright, Ceglar presented with some soreness following the game and was sent for scans.

“Scans have revealed a small crack in the bone in Jon’s toe,” Wright confirmed.

“It’s only a minor issue, and there’s still a good chance he might be right to go by Sunday’s game.

“We’re lucky in that sense that we have a nine-day turnaround this week.

“We’ll keep monitoring his fitness over the next 24 hours, and will make a final decision ahead of team selection tomorrow night.”

Fyfe has to go now, can't hold with him looking to miss multiple weeks...

"Unfortunately he will miss the Derby this week and potentially a few more games after that. Nat will get stuck into his rehab and hopefully we'll see him in a few weeks"
He was clearly unfit going into last round, it seemed stupid bringing him back so soon. North did the same with Cunnington earlier this season.
