So true. The other problem now is that with Hampson shipped off to Richmond, Warnock will play most games in tandem with Kreuzer, which means that Kreuzer will be stuck playing forward a lot more as Warnock has only one string to his bow (his ruckwork).

If Billy Longer is the sole ruckman at the Saints come round 1 is he worth the punt or a look in? His price is around 269,300 and only played 4 games in 2013. Would be get a discount?

Yeah I agree. Although I'm feeling less and less sure about who I'll start with next year I can't see myself starting with either of them.

Went with set and forget and got smashed last year (while missing out on Berger) so might just go value picks and pay full price in the mids. Minson is awfully tempting though with their draw but after a ripping combo of Jacobs/Maric/McEvoy/Ryder last year I'm very reluctant to jump on unproven rucks again.

I'm living the idea of Minson to be honest. Won't be benched as much as he was last year with the new interchange caps, web still don't have a 2nd ruck but I don't like paying $600k for him. Will most likely start Nic nat in the rucks and trade Minson in and swing him fwd

Exact same thinking as me. Although will Tommy Campbell get more game time and take some hitouts?

Was considering ruck combinations and thought of macintosh, sandilands (yes injury history is not good but if he can average 90+ would be a bargain because he will start cheapish) with currie and Mcbean on the bench and have nic nat in the forward line so there is cover during the bye rounds and if sandi goes down permanently (fair chance) I can upgrade him or put nic nat there for good. Not scared so much given what luenberger did last season but there is cover having nic nat there

There are a lot of "maybes" with next years valued rucks. I am not brave enough to pick Macintosh. Sandilands I think I will pick and maybe mummy or grundy. I dont know until preseason form.
