Hi Guys,

I'm really struggling with my trades this week. I seem to have got myself in a bit of a pickle with my cash generation. Hill is my highest priced rookie at 266k.

Any advice much appreciated.

Thanks heaps

Too many donuts. McI to S.Simpson. Any donut to McKay. Perhaps Conroy if the maths works. Williams a chance to game is on emerg list.

Still don't know what to do with my second trade. First will be McCluggage to Whitfield (his scoring has dropped with Zorko back in the team). I don't have enough cash to upgrade a rookie and I'm okay with one more week of Rankine, Taylor, Marlion and loophole Hibberd/Bennell on the field.

Currently thinking of trading Titch because he hasn't been playing well, is likely to drop in price before his bye and I don't like that Clarko was experimenting with him starting at half forward during centre bounces. Plus he lets me get a POD like Treloar (who also has some easy opponents coming up) or an underpriced premium like Zorko.

The other option is to trade Brander for Mayes/Simpson/Eggmolese-Smith but I'm reluctant to do it because of their price.

Green to Macrae and Aarts to McPherson done! Go Macs!

Plan is:

round 9: McInerny to Close, Hamill to Ling, Serong to B Smith
round 10: Sicily to Oliver/Zorko, Budarick/Simpson to Rookie, Bewley to Neale

I think Sicily @ ~575k is a big opportunity to trade an overpriced player going into his bye.

I was thinking this as well but was just wondering who to trade in.... Stewart is already going to be an in for me. At R10, best options would be a player free of the bye (i.e. Ess/Dees player) or a player with a "late bye" (who could be sideswapped again later in the year). Hopefully the R13-16 schedule is out by R10....

Just looked and only a couple of our 33 pre-season rookies haven't played yet so not many left but it has been good that a couple of others have
bobbed-up out of left-field...might need a couple more, please Brad Close, whoever you are.

Traded in Rankine this round which had him so excited it unfortunately put him off his goal kicking without which, he's, well, a bit off a Peacock, like Wingard. Anyway, hopefully he'll have settled down by next round and kick a handful.

Second trade was going to be Sam Simpson, but just revisiting Eggmolesse-Smith and he strikes me as potential Doedee type who would sit nicely in my back-line averaging 100 and making a bit of coin to boot. Like Doedee, not without some risk but probably a better on field prospect than Simpson. Not long now to decide whether or not to make the commitment.

If hes at that price at round 10 perfect for me to go down to stewart at around 430k.
