Is their much point moving Bont on now though ? Only 8 games left , getting him to a 110 point player only brings a extra 80 points for the rest of the season.
Good point. You're probably right, especially considering I probably wouldn't move him on for a couple of rounds so the benefit might be more like 50 or 60 points.

It's funny trying to convert your mind to think they are only playing 17 games , I keep thinking plenty of time to fix my team then realise half the season is just about to be gone.

On the plus side, I didn’t trade in Tim English last week.
I was kicking myself all week for not trading English to Gawn. Up to the last minute I thought that Gawn was to expensive and made other plans, luckily I saw the light and traded English to Gawn with a few minutes to spare.

TJL on bench with E fired up with the threat of leaving my team.
So glad Sturt still out to loop
TJL looked to be on his bike a lot more last night , getting a lot more involved.

Not sure Chol helps his & Riewoldt's area/space though.

Had a few team mates dropping in front of him taking his space as well , not sure why he wants to wrestle once the ball has gone , gave away 2-3 free kicks.

Certainly a lot happier seeing 97 against his name.

Richmond are starting to look ominous again , so hopefully his scores keep improving.

Not sure how far away Astbury , Caddy , Nank & Prestia are away from returning , Houli back against the Suns.

Paragraph on him & Giro further into the article , Sturt a few weeks.

Think they will be missing 8-10 of their Best 22 against the Pies , if we can't win Sunday I might have to become a Crows supporter 😀

Tucker was starting to get some nice numbers together , must have really done a job on his hammy.
Crows supporters definitely betting for the number one draft pick now mate......
While it’d nice to have a win and all you wouldn’t want too many now would you 😂

A bit of talk that this is the week for the Crows , Kangaroos are ripe for the taking.

0-17 looks much better than 1-16 though.

I think we play the Crows soon , I better be quiet , no Howe , JDG , Pendles anything is possible I guess......surely not

Sorry, cut post short as am being "sons taxi" and mum just got out of the doctors. Am trading Walters to Gaff on Saturday, doesn't affect bye structure. Have radio on mmm, they just reported that a new covid record believed to start with a 7 to be officially reported shortly 🥵

Any major concerns on Grundy or was last week just a very, very poor game?
I attended the game so watched him closely.

He didn't look impeded/ sore to me at any point, Buckley played him at full forward for the whole of the last quarter as the game was over - wise move with the amount of games coming up with short breaks. For the first 3 quarters after the ruck contest, WCE had a midfielder run with Grundy (almost like a tagger) so he wasn't able to get any easy ball/ rack up possessions. So when you combine that with NN winning the ruck battle & Grundy playing FF for the last quarter, it explains his poor score.

Now to work out if I trade him to Trac.!? Walters two weeks at least... could end up more with the schedule. Who’s holding?
Thats a good idea with so many trades this year. But my defence is so poor so I think I might go Walters to Lloyd. Thanks for the idea.

wow Darcy Tucker ruled out for the season
Could mean Tobe Watson gets a regular game.I want to pick him before Close as Close will only get around 40 points this week against West Coast imo.

Interesting observation.

Watching on TV (must admit didn't watch the last quarter closely) looked laboured and barely able to get to the second contest at all , was very unGrundy to me.

Mind you I don't think he has been 100% since Round 2/3 , not moving around the ground as fluently as he has the last few seasons.

If Gawn fails (unlikely) as VC for me tonight, I'll be putting the C on Grundy.
He's sort of going under the radar this week (it feels) given he's the last game of the round.
Your reasons above, combined with the fact I think he'll be seething at the Pies and his performance last week, along with coming up against Darcy and Lobb, for mine it screams monster score.

And this is coming from a bloke who spent hours investigating a trade plan which involved trading Grundy out this week
