Oh yes, I have had some shockers. Specific examples aren't springing to mind but it happens to the best coaches. It's a part of the game to make a blunder like that.

I am beating myself about trying to ride the English price rises to Gawn rather than just forking out. Because I knew in my head that was the logical option but I thought English could be fun (plus he was coming off a 204). I hate that decision but the fact is I did it so it was never meant to happen any other way.

This week, one of my closest friends and biggest competitors traded in Walters, then to see he is out.

Starting to feel better now BomberSam knowing that others have done this or some blunder.

Good overhead mark, accurate foot, and can kick em from outside 50. If his endurance has improved, will put him in next week. Looks secure in his role with both Martin and Smith out.

In my best year I loopholed Goldy but forgot to the E on him in the back and forth of trade reversals. He scored big and I missed out on getting my best score ever... I’ve tried to repress it.

Probably starting to rotate/rest players in preparation for the next month. Wouldn’t be surprised if he comes back in during the continuous rounds.

Jeez, I'm super lucky I didn't need a defender traded in with Close this week as I would've had to trust that he was selected without seeing teams. As it is, I can wait until teams are released tomorrow as the players I'm moving/trading out don't play until the Essendon/Brisbane match.

OK I think I've been living under a rock or something...I did not know that teams will ONLY get announced the day before the kickoff of that respective game. Damm!
For some reason I just can't bring myself to trade players (i.e. D.Smith) who have been named to play without seeing the other team lineups. Already have no bench cover as it is.
And how sure are we that players like Close will be named?!

I still may do the trades (bring in Oliver) if I convince myself...or if someone else convinces me !
