Hopefully they get rid of rolling lockout to level the playing field so to speak.
I'm with you on this. As much as we all probably gained from the rolling lockout last year, I wouldn't hate it if there weren't any loopholes either. It would also make picking captains that much more enjoyable.

I doubt they will get rid of the rolling lockout as it simply provides the HS website with so much more extra web traffic and clicks to their site.

But I would like to see it gone too as it will mean the end of the following:

No more stress of spending a whole weekend obesssing about making any last minute trade/loophole decisions.

No more desperately trying to move somewhere at Etihad stadium to find half decent data reception to make that last minute trade, VC or emergency loophole swapping players, or panicing as the ultra slow data connection takes 9 minutes to make a trade when I have only 10 minutes in which to make it.

No more sneakily hiding in a bathroom at someones kids birthday party to look at my phone to see how my players are going in order to make any such last minute decisions.

And most importantly no more having my wife scream at me "Not Again! Stop it with your Supercoach obession and come out back to the party and be bloody sociable!!!" when she catches me at the kids party hiding away looking at my phone.

Haha, the night of my deb ball was round 1 lockout for the first week. Needless to say I spent the whole lead up and photos etc. on my phone deciding on a couple of last minute inclusions, and then did all the dancing with my phone in my pocket ready to see the scores and results as soon as it was over.

Just one of many occasions SC took preference over important matters throughout he year. :)

It can be very addictive.
There's a solution though. You can let Impromptu know of your exam dates next year and he'll ban you for 3 weeks in June and Oct-Nov to ensure that you don't get distracted. You can also give him your SC login & password and he'll make the team changes for you....you can trust him with your team

I am travelling mid-year to Europe. Depending on how I am travelling I may get someone to babysit from July to finals.

Wow, you weren't lying about the Denmark thing.
LOL, nope I sure wasn't. I try and get back to Australia once a year, but won't manage to do that this year. Not sure why you thought I was lying, but I can tell you, there are some big disadvantages to living in Denmark. Apart from the time difference, and missing some televised games, Denmark is one of the countries precluded from winning prizes in a lot of tipping and fantasy competitions. In 2012 I actually won a number of prizes in one of the NRL tipping contests, but was not allowed to collect them. Sportsbet, Sportal and Centrebet don't allow me to collect prizes in their fantasy comps either, not that I have ever won any there. I actually don't enter competitions that ban me from collecting anymore. By the way, it is more to do with the laws in Denmark, than those places being "mean" that stop them from letting me win prizes. But that's another long, and complicated story! :)

I've always thought that you were in Holland...I think I misread one of your post when you mentioned Amsterdam.
That kinda suck regarding the Danish rules but good thing about living in Europe is that there is so many places you can go visit or frequent and even better if you are a soccer fan!!!

FFGenie or similar?

Last year I stumbled upon FFGenie but I can't seem to get it to work this year. I liked it because you had all the players in one giant list that I could look through. The HS site is nice and pretty but cumbersome.

Any ideas SCS'ers?

Have you had a look at the SCS Team Planner Mr Roid? That is split into the different positions, but is pretty easy to see all players :)

Mr.Peptide sounds like something worth having a look at. Please point me in the general direction of which section to find it.

Between the two of us this site surely can't lose

Are you talking about player statistics and breakevens? If so then SuperCoach Gold has it.

For those who don't subscribed to SC Gold and it's breakeven we normally discuss it during the week, but also most of us know the guesstimate of breakeven and price changes.

If it's for Byes then SCS Planner: http://www.supercoachscores.com/scs_teamplanner

If it's Rowsus' Ramp, then definitely go: http://www.supercoachscores.com/threads/924-RAMP-Score-and-Price-Predictor

If it's just statistics, then FanFooty & Footywire are pretty good.

Thanks Peptide.

What I was after was basically a complete listing of all the players, positions and prices. I could then filter a price range and position and start researching from there. The SC site is ok but just isn't as good as having it all in one spreadsheet.

I will pm Rowsus for his RAMP as that seems closest to what I am after.

I know Oz sent me a spreadsheet via Google Drive that had the full list of players, prices and previous season av. The only thing was he had edited some (only the relevant ones to him) players positions due to the changes for FDL Key Position players etc.

Maybe ask him.
