Not gonna complain about Gawn taking a week off if he comes back refreshed and beats the living heck out of Goldstein and Grundy the following two weeks who may be tiring.

Grundy TOG may also be Collingwood’s way of resting him up throughout the hectic schedule.

Very interested to see whether byes will occur for the other teams or whether there’s a blanket week off. Can’t see the latter happening with the way they’ve crammed these matches in though.

Could someone answer this, please?

Once a game starts can you sub on or off, whether the person is a selected emergency?

and also would it be smart to sub Woodcock onto the field to replace Rankine or should i keep them where they are?

Put the Emergency on Woodcock.

If he scores more than what any of your onfield forwards are likely to score , move your F8 onfield to replace one of your other forwards , you will then get Woodcocks's score if it is part of your Best 18.

And please do the 3 trades that @IDIG suggested you do.

This is head and shoulders above any other Supercoach forums re advice , info , tips etc etc.

Take the time to read through the threads and you will find a wealth of information to help you and with your team.

Good luck

good idea, does the top 18 thingy work with emergencies as well? i thought it was just field players?
Emergencies count for best 18 if there is a non-player (or a player on their bye) on field, like in a normal week. So if you go Woodcock emergency tonight and he scores well, just take Rankine off your field and put on someone who isn't playing this week.

I expect to have 25 playing this week. 22 on field with the ability to loop 3 (D7/M9/F7).

Feels strong. Might be enough to negate the effect of all my value picks that have been killing my score (i.e. Houston, McGrath instead of the masses Sicily, Macrae).

And make sure you join us for the exceptionally long and unnecessary SuperCoach pre-season in (late 2020) 2021.
