I’m starting to feel like I don’t know the rules of AFL anymore. At least half the time, if not more, I disagree with the umpires call.

I have been totally confused for about 6 weeks , I am sure they change their interpretations each quarter as well.

I feel like it’s been a lot better tonight though Russ? Gone a lot easier on the “interpretations”

Last 7-8 minutes of that quarter Gawn was involved in 3 marking contests.

No ball ups , no throw ups.

I think Gawn owners themselves would openly admit they are very lucky with his score tonight.

Maybe they are just auto on ruck contests and giving any Jackson attends to Gawn.

A big lift from Schoenberg that term, was it a 33 odd point term by him.
Obviously Sloane and Smith to come back into that engine room, but have to think they try to keep getting games into him. He has the frame to stand up to more games you'd think.

2 trainers held an arm either side, took him to the boundary until the ball cleared then took him off very slowly across the other side of the ground.

Yeah - he as pissed off though and wouldn't leave - arguing with the meds, he was ...

Simple fix - make every player wear headgear like Brayshaw does. I can't believe these/those knuckleheads don't see the need. Pretty bloody simple... Then we could have more of those sling tackles which I quite enjoy.

yeah - but if you watch enough, you can see the umpires are sort of ebbing and flowing... but must be **** if you only watch one game a week.

- Says a lot about the status of both clubs to me ..... never thought I'd say it but go the Crows ...
