Hey everyone I have a bit of a stupid question regarding the 18-team private leagues. Let's say for example your league contains some of those "celebrity" supercoaches (i.e. phantom, browny etc.), if these guys finish in the top 8 do they also go into the SC finals? Are you able to kick them out just before the finals? If so, do the teams who finished below them go into the finals instead?

I don't believe that is an option... Robbo is about to steal your premiership cup o_O

That reminds me, I read yesterday that Dan Andrews is leading a celebrity footy tipping comp that includes so called experts like David King and Tim Watson.

How the he'll does that happen while being the Vic Premier in these crazy times!!

I remember he said 'up the Dons' at the end of one of his interviews at the start of this whole mess. My respect for the man skyrocketed instantly.

Just noticed Geelong vs Port teams on the AFL website has no late changes at the top despite them playing tomorrow! So no late changes for tonight's game doesn't mean anything.
Will end in disaster for someone.

Just lazy to have it there by default.

Getting better advice on the footy than the pandemic?

The round 12 notes from supercoach on Boyd Woodcock read :
Tuesday, August 11 - 3:03 pm
Woodcock had a great second game finishing with 12 touches and a goal. He was a great selection if you brought him in. However it may be too late if you didn't.

How can it be too late to bring in a $137,000 player with a negative break even ?

Agree, I brought him in last night.

If he had started the season at the price and then on the bubble with that break even most of us would have brought him without batting an eyelid

Yes me too, I thought I might be getting this game wrong but they've made a mistake saying that imo.
I expect he'll make me $180,000.
