Thinking I'll give Oliver the C over Neale, Pies just used Pendles to tag Cripps and if I remember correctly in 2019 they paid Neale a fair bit of attention. Titch into Oliver.
C Oliver:
Avg VS Syd since 2017: 95 from 4 (low of 80 and a high of 121, 3/4 below 100, 1/4 120+)
Last 3 VS Syd: 100 from 3 (low of 87 and a high of 121, 2/3 below 100, 1/3 120+)
2019 Wins Avg: 126 from 5 (2/5 below 100, 2/5 120+)
2019 Losses Avg: 104.47 from 17 (6/17 below 100, 4/17 120+)
2020 Wins Avg: 138.14 from 7 (6/7 120+)
2020 Losses Avg: 114.67 from 6 (2/6 below 100, 1/6 120+)

Cheers Connoisseur, that's good to know and a slight concern. According to Fanfooty he's been tagged by Hewett their last three meetings, which might explain the lukewarm scores. With no Hewett and no tagger I'd imagine he has a bigger day. But if they really like to tag him that much maybe they still find a way to tag him? Probably not when they don't seem to be tagging and with Petracca in the side, but a minor concern.

Was going to be a sneaky VC on Laird , but with Crouch back , doubt that happens (although I think the Crows might get up tomorrow)

Whitfield - > Neale

85.3 v Collingwood (might not even trade him in)

suspect if Greenwood is not back , T Brown will get the job
L Whitfield:
Avg VS Carl since 2017: 142.67 from 3 (low of 117 and a high of 170, 2/3 120+, 2/3 140+)
2019 Wins Avg: 115.09 from 11 (3/11 below 100, 4/11 120+)
2019 Losses Avg: 102.8 from 5 (2/5 below 100, 1/5 120+)
2020 Wins Avg: 121.29 from 7 (2/7 below 100, 3/7 120+)
2020 Losses Avg: 84.5 from 6 (3/6 below 100)

Never thought I’d see a dozen or more posts and not a mention of Gawn as a VC/C option
M Gawn:

2020 Wins Avg: 152.8 from 5 (5/5 120+, 3/5 150+)

Mitchell VC for me, and if that doesn’t work out - call the Doc! 144 last time he played the Giants, in 2017. And due for a big one. How’s that for cherry picking. (Disclaimer: I am not playing for overall).

Changed my mind and gonna do Titch to Neale.

Collingwood probably don't have the depth due to injury at the moment to make Pendles do a defensive job at stoppages for long periods against a midfield like Brisbane's. At Carlton it was just Cripps and that seemed to stop in the 3rd quarter.

It was only a soft tag at stoppages I was worried about, the kind which slowed Neale down last year, but that only kept him to 91 when he wasn't as good as he is now and the Pies won the game convincingly.

The same attempt to stop him probably only keeps him to 110 this time if it's effective and there's no guarantee they try to stop him, they probably just try to stop him a bit like any other team does.

Definitely a better C option than Oliver given his reliability and consistency of going 130+, I overthought this after it my initial plan being Titch to Neale .

Been flat out working all day, mind elsewhere tossing up VC hahahaha.

After switching it so many times during the day, passed on Titch and will VC Oliver. Just have a feeling he could produce a monster.

Still backing Titch to produce at least 120 also (decent start tonight), but just going with gut of Clarry into a (hopefully) bankable Neale/Whitfield/Grundy.
