Good luck with your results and remember, life is a marathon and year 12 is the first 400 metres. If you get great results then that's fantastic and if you get the results you didn't want, you can still work hard at tafe/university and get a transfer into the course you want do want.
I know some people did well in high school and got into a great course, but struggled at university. So remember year 12 is only a stepping stone and not the end result. Naturally, my philosophical advice must be related to SuperCoach, so here is a bad attempt.
It's like you wanting Nick Riewoldt / Gary Ablett in your team, but you can't, so you just trade in Jack Riewoldt / Priddis instead and use them as a stepping stone to eventually have Nick Riewoldt/Gary Ablett in the long run. Now those who can get Nick Riewoldt straight away that's a bonus, but if you can't get Nick Riewoldt then get cousin Jack and work hard and trade St Nick later on.
