The following team would have scored the maximum score that could have been achieved in the Lock & Load comp this year. That score was 36,712 (avg 2040) and compares to @Beijing_Sting's winning score of 28,762 (avg 1598).

This comp started in Rd 3. Does the best possible team change based on that?

This is the corrected maximum score now based on a round 3 start which I forgot about when I posted the first team. The max score is now 32,903 which came at an average of 2,056. Interesting that now every player has had their score used at least once.

Oh wow! this is so awesome!

I am so interested in this... I have another request though!!! I really wonder what the highest-scoring team looked like after 2 rounds? How did they end up going... Hard to know I suppose, as I guess the full data impossible to uncover - the rookies would have to be hit and miss as not included in the top team stats... but if we just add in the most popular rookies (and any others) that would give a good indication as to what this team might have looked like and how it would have gone in the long run. Good data for next year ... Love this highest-scoring spreadsheet voodoo that you do!

I can work this out but don‘t quite follow why highest after 2 rounds is that significant. I assume you mean after 2 rounds of this comp so therefore after round 4.

I know that I chose a lot of players who were good in Rd 1 and 2 (i.e Rozee) who then dropped off in form. I think he is after a team which had the best players from the first two rounds (who a lot of us would have selected in our own teams) to compare this to the best possible team for the rest of the season.

Ok I get it now. The follows shows that outcome however selecting the best team after just 2 rounds leaves you with a lot of low priced doughnuts which compromises that team significantly as the season goes on.

For this to be of a little more value I think I would need to add a constraint to reduce or eliminate the non-scoring players in round 1 and 2.

This scenario works out the team that would have scored the highest after round 2 considering only players that played in both rounds. It then works out what that team would have scored for the Lock & Load comp. Interestingly the score of 27,013 would have only been good enough to finish 13th (which is ironically where I finished )
