It's kinda unfortunate with the Stars having so many quality players that they don't even get much of a go.
I think next season, if the Renegades could recruit one of Hastings/Mckay and get Quiney (He can't even fit into the Stars side!) the competition would become a lot better!

Although, I guess the Stars would require their more 'depth' players come ODIs when Maxwell, Faulkner, Mckay become unavailable. They still have a formidable line up without those players.

Yeah you're right. I am pretty confident that every player in the Stars team last night has played international cricket. You won't see that in too many other BBL teams going around. Quiney has had some sort of injury recently but I think he is nearly right to go, but you can't really see where he fits in atm.

Rito considering my trades for this week yet again, think I will go with this for the moment:

Coulter-Nile --> Rimmington
Rose ---> Sandri

Sandri should make som good coin and even batted at number 3 last game for the Thunder, plus is getting a bowl, taking a few scalps and catches to. Coz Coulter-Nile is still going to be with the test squad I am better off trading him out, making coin with Rimmington and then looking at Coulter-Nile and Malinga in the coming weeks.

How many DGW (Renegades) players does everyone have? I personally have 5. 2 batsmen, 1 keeper and 2 bowlers.

BTW this should work shouldn't it with the Double Gameweek:

VC Renegades player, have a look at his score tonight and assess whether when he plays his next match that his final score will be worthy of getting double for C. Hence play a donut and give them the C.

If say there score is no good after tonight, you don't think they will go too good next match so put the C on another player who you think will score well in just their one match this week.

What do you guys reckon???? :confused: Sound about right??

I was thinking the same thing and i'm 99% sure it's fine to do that. I checked with someone on a different site and they are also confident it works. I have Cam White (C) ready in case my Renegades (VC) player does poorly in both his two games.

Yeah I will be doing something similar.

Not sure whether to risk Nevill (DGW) vs. Kieswetter (only 1 match)?????

Trades made.

Out: Hodge, Hopes
In: Cooper, MMarsh +65k

Resisted getting Christian instead of Marsh because of the difference in price. I already know how that will turn out :D
Ended up going with Doolan in the end as it looked like Cooper was gonna come in late. Only scored 13 which sucks but have Finch (vc) which is looking good at the moment.

Dear Channel 10,

Luke Hodge is a fantastic cricket commentator and a hell of a lot better than Andy Maher.
We recommend you offer him a full-time job.

Thanks every BBL fan in the country. :p

Still not sure on these rules Goodies, I have the VC on Finchy and the C on Maddinson, who does not play this week.
Have Katich on the bench to cover Maddinson. Will this work to get Finchy the C ?

BTW, congrats on your huge win (touch up) #tookmetothecleaners. Bring on the footy, still have no idea at this cricket stuff.

Damn Finch out for a brilliant 81.

A bit annoyed coz I posted in a Renegades competition that he would top score for them and make 83, just missed out on a signed renegades shirt :(

Cheers for that Goodies.
Another BTW. My nephew thinks he played against you the other week. Plays for Nestles, a young quick bowler.
Haha well I have come down and played a couple of games in the under 17's for Dennington in the last couple of weeks.
Not sure ho we have played to be honest, think it was Russells Creek and someone else.
I did play a practise game against the Waves under 16 team if he happened to be in that, or when our 18's Waves team played Warrnambool CW.

Traded in Buttler who scored -8 last week and now Buttler(vice-capt) got a monster score of 108!! for the first game of his DGW round!

However, just heard Buttler will not play the second game of the DGW!! You serious? LOL
