Think I'm mostly set now. Only question remains around Stoinis. Behrendorff is close to a placeholder, if Ellis goes well he can become, say, Briggs, or if Stoinis is out I can go to Cartwright and Rashid instead, and give myself more R2 flexibility.

I'm somewhat annoyed at how cookie-cutter this feels, but maybe that's because it's the right way to go!

Brisbane captain Chris Lynn shook off two weeks of quarantine following his IPL stint with a stunning 154 off 55 balls last weekend for Toombul and he is earmarked to play matches tomorrow at Peter Burge Oval at Wellington Point and Bill Albury Oval at Tingalpa.

Toombul’s morning match against Sandgate-Redcliffe will also feature recent Heat arrival Tom Cooper, with the experienced batsman playing for the Gators in both games tomorrow.

Redlands will have James Bazley, Jimmy Peirson and Sam Heazlett in action across their three matches, although newly signed Heat allrounder Simon Milenko will miss the games as he recovers from a finger injury.

The Gold Coast will call upon Heat batsman Max Bryant, pace bowler Xavier Bartlett and spinner Matthew Kuhnemann while Valley will have allrounder Jack Wildermuth and wicket-keeper Lachy Pfeffer in their ranks.

Ipswich/Logan will look to spinner Jack Wood, one of three replacement players named this week for the Heat alongside Milenko and Pfeffer.

Sunshine Coast will have the BBL’s leading wicket-taker Ben Laughlin in their ranks for their morning clash against Redlands at Bill Albury Oval, the venue where the seamer started his career with Wynnum-Manly.

So

Any rule changes in last 60minutes?

Rumours abound than Dan Andrews Sunday speech will now include current rule changes, new substitute restrictions and a ring of steel around the 30metre region
lol ... I'm waiting for the no more than 4 players from any one side in a single round .... but might be confused between AFL / BBL shenanigans ....

- or score 50 and you need to retire and give another player a go ...

- one hand one bounce and can't get out first ball I've also seen mentioned recently which brought a smile to my face ...

- Yep been a long day :)

Not meaning to nitpick but for the rounds you said that neither has the advantage... I've looked into it a bit deeper.

Round 1 - Nielsen has a bye so he has a big advantage there.
Round 2 - Pfeffer has a big advantage as Nielsen plays first game.
Round 3 - Pfeffer has a small advantage as he has 2 extra games to decide VC/C.
Round 6 - Nielsen has a small advantage as he plays the last game so 2 extra games over Pfeffer.
Round 8 - Nielsen a small advantage as he has 1 extra game for u to decide VC.

Round 11 - Pfeffer vs Nielsen so you're correct on that one.

Everything else you wrote is great and definitely in consideration for me.
I'm not entirely sure but:

Rd 1: Only one team on the double.
Rd 2: Two teams on the double. Both teams play 1st game.
Rd 3: Only one team on the double.
Rd 6: Two teams on the double. Both players play after the 1st team on the double.
Rd 8: Two teams on the double. Both players play after the 1st team on the double.

I like 4 as long as it is 4 Renegades players so we can see something different 😀

Cheap keeper , Finch , Tye , Hussain , Bazley

To simplify it I look at it like this .... Nielsen unlikely to play again once Carey is back in game 4 ....

I read that Finch is "flagged" to be "managed" due to not having a break outside of "hubs" since July .... not sure I believe it though ...
I read that somewhere a few weeks ago , wouldn't surprise me if quite a few of the ODI/T20 Squad were actually given 7-10 days off before joining their BBL sides.
