Any Meritt in having Franklin and Pav F3/F4?, both underpriced.... Freo seemed to do well without Pav so i'm not sure of his impact going forward....

Pav seems to be in a lot of teams in the thread "Rate My Team"
I think he's still SC relevant and could average 95-100

With Chappy gone, is Caddy the replacement?

Maybe eventualy.

My guess would be a 75-80 average
for 2014, this would be good progress.

Has only scored 80+ 7 times in
40 game career.

You can't replace someone that wasn't there. Chappy missed enough games in 2013 to say he wasn't there, so there in no need to find a replacement for him.

Not sure if he's been mentioned, but how's Stevie Motlop shaping up this year? Will he get a bit more of a run through the middle and use those silky skills he has in abundance?

Had him in my first side early on but now i've changed to another option. If he gets more midfield time, what sort of average do you think he will get over the season? Will that average make him a top 6 or top 8 forward in 2014?

He had a 20 point increase in 2013 from 2012, 27 point increase if you discount Rd 23 when he got injured and scored 16. Had a solid finals series too, averaging 97. If he could get more time through the midfield, I'd say he could average 100+ and would be in contention as a top 6 forward. A few people have been burnt previously by saying this, but I think it's time that Geelong started to enter a regeneration phase and this may mean Motlop gets more time in the engine room.
Two concerns with Motlop:
1) His stats suggest he is more of an outside player and if he does get more of a run in the midfield, how will he cope with a tag (if he does well enough to warrant one)?
2) Will he even get more time through the midfield?

Really having problems with F5/6 myself. My structure really only works when they're both basement priced rookies but that doesn't fill me with any confidence.

How's everyone else looking? I'm starting to think premium rookie priced players might be the go with Faz and maybe Clark/Karnezis/Hunter the way to go.

I hear you! Struggling as well. In fact all of F3 to F8 I have little confidence in at the moment. Along with R3 these have been the hardest positions I have found to select. I am hoping that a couple of sub 150k players reveal themself over the Nab Cup.

If none do then I may be forced to rethink my overall structure.

I have clark and bock. But as a dogs supporter I've been hearing that Hunter is absolutely killing it on the training track this preseason. Has much on muscle and endurance

What's your take on Hunter?
Will he play regularly this year?
