872, pretty underwhelming start without NCN and Cartwright but not too worried in game where randomness plays a big part. I've got 6 DGW locked in for next round already. I'm mostly not sure about Khawaja who's been on a bit of a downward trajectory for a while and Bryant who doesn't seem to have done much work on his deficiencies from what I saw.

Just thought I would keep an eye on this , seen plenty here with ideas/thoughts on teams (myself included) but @Damion23 is prepared to put it out there.

Not only the teams but the rest of information on the sheet as well is quite amazing

So does he have a job when Hohn's leaves :-

BH - 9/11 (Pfeffer , Wildermuth 😀)
HH - 9/11 (McDermott 😀 , Parker)
MR - 9/11 (Boyce inj , Holland)
MS - 10/11 (Gotch)
PS - 10/11 (Rocchiccioli)
SS - 11/11 ✓
ST - 8/11 (Gilkes , Milne inj , Nair)

Pretty amazing effort I think , well done
Thanks if you take the two Aus A call ups and 2 injuries I would of got 10/11 avg per team which is not too bad.

BH - Thought they may of went Pfeffer to help the battting nope! (shame they could of used a batsman)
HH - writing was prob on the wall when Botha signed that Parker wasn't getting a game.
MR - Holland must be done if a new player is getting a gig over him.
MS - Wouldn't of picked Dunk over Gotch yuk! (well I didn't)
PS - damn Perth newspaper said one of the replacement players had to play chucked me under the bus! or I would of had 11/11
ST - Cricket.com.au Thunder preview had Shane Bond talking up Holt, should've went with him. thought Nair would play too.

Should I return next season for another crack?

After that effort your next assignment is picking the IPL teams starting XI in 2021 😀

Seriously though , fantastic job

Absolutely yes!!!

We are lucky to have you contributing to this great site.
Not pissing in your pocket here either, you have really added something to our sites BBL SC.
I'm sure many of our members have a much better score in Rnd 1, because of your help.
I know I do.
Great work, and thanks again!

All out for 989 Just shy of 1k!

Dorf terrible pick. Just needed 1 wicket to get me over the 1k mark!
Missed out on scoring 1k and just missed out on making the top 1k in rank.

Rank: 1,073

Final team was:
WKT: Fletcher (Handscomb)
BAT: Short, Maxwell, Cartwright, DC, Bryant (Jacks, Pfeffer)
BWL: Zampa, NCN, Dorf, Ellis, Hussain (Renshaw, Worrall)

Chose Cartwright over Stoinis in the end. It was looking great yday but ended up only being a small win today. Almost copped a donut, had Milne up til about 10mins before the game but luckily swapped him to Dorf... but he ended being very underwhelming. Spiceman was also very disappointing. Good thing is I'll have 6DGR players in preparation for round 2 before trades.

672 and 4th worst score in the SCS League.
Can’t explain how disappointing it is to spend so much of my time tinkering for such a poor start. Most of my iterations had the obvious choices but ended up going without Stoinis and NCN last minute, which sunk me.

Hopefully 11 DGW players in round 2 help me play catch ups, can see losing interest this season very quickly with another round or two like that.

I think my main options are keeping Fletcher and copping a likely price drop, rolling the dice on Carey playing game 2B, or bringing in someone like Handscomb for a round or more, but sacrificing a Striker in (with two DGRs) in another position to do that.
Exact same thinking here. Leaning towards Handscomb to my lack of faith in strikers/

Stoinis or Maxwell, who are we all keeping? Maxwell seems the most obvious one but that last innings from Stoinis looked ominous. Maxwell's bowling isn't necessarily a huge points earner because he essentially baits the opposition into trying to hit him out of the attack and normally doesn't bowl again if they succeed.

I’m keeping Maxwell and trading Stoinis.
