Faulkner Vs Siddle

Both similar price. Owning 3 of the top 4 hurricanes batters means I should be hoping the strikers bowlers fail meaning I should lean towards Faulkner. Or do I split the middle and get Siddle? :unsure:

Bit risky, but I think im going to trade out all of Maxi, Stoin and Zamps. Scorchers have a great bowling attack and we saw Stoin struggle against the swing bowling of Bartlett. Dorff and Richo are both very good with the new ball and could do similar.

Risky going withoit Maxi but I have to trade out either him or Coults to bring in Faulkner. I think ill take the extra cash from Coult’s and I think he could actually score better than Maxi being a death bowler against the Scorchers batting.

Also, theyre all not playing next gameweek so that makes the decision easier for me.

So trades are:
Zampa -> Khan
Stoinis -> Siddle
Maxi -> Faulkner

Bit lost on what to do tbh.

My team at the moment is:
Handscomb (Bertus)
Maxwell, Christian, Khawaja, Short, Fletcher (Bryant, Bazley)
Meredith, Zampa, NCN, Faulkner, Boland (Hussain, Bartlett)

Thinking of trading Fletcher and Zampa out, but stuck on the third trade. Feeling like my only choice is to trade NCN, but I really do not want to do that! Would love some thoughts.

Update:
Thinking of doing:
Fletcher, Khawaja and Zampa to Short, Renshaw and Rashid. Gives me 8 DGW + Christian, Maxwell and NCN.

Short has to fire one of the two games, right?

My team currently stands, scoring 872 for the round

Philippe, (Pfeffer)
Short, Jacks, Renshaw, Fletcher, Christian, (Edwards, Bryant)
Maxwell, Zampa, NCN, Boland, Ellis (Hussain, Bartlett)

Current planned trades are
Maxi, Fletcher, Zamps > Wells, Khan, Siddle
I like the Wells match up against the hurricanes because I think Salt and Weatherald may get out early to the hurricanes bowling depth, so hopefully Renshaw and Wells can then control the innings and hopefully make a big score

Do we have any info on if NCN is back for the Perth game? I'd like to keep him over Maxwell especially if Hussain is out NCN's role with the ball is even more valuable especially if the stars back first and can set a big total, the extra price rise right before his R3 bye would make a great trade to Finch or Richardson in preparation for there DGR in R6

Stoinis or Maxwell, who are we all keeping? Maxwell seems the most obvious one but that last innings from Stoinis looked ominous. Maxwell's bowling isn't necessarily a huge points earner because he essentially baits the opposition into trying to hit him out of the attack and normally doesn't bowl again if they succeed.
Same as @Ben's Beasts. My plan was always to keep Stoin and trade Maxy, until Maxy hot form with the bat and Stoin got injured. Stoinis is a resting chance and currently only has one string to his bow. Maxy has two strings and is captain, so is very unlikely to miss outside of an injury.

Reasonably happy with my start to the year, scored 983 for an overall rank of 1,184.
Fantastic to see plenty of good scores floating around the site.

My Current Side is...

Fletcher (Pfeffer)
Short, Maxwell, Stoinis, Salt, Edwards (Turner, Bryant)
Coulter-Nile, Zampa, Boland, Siddle, Ellis (Bartlett, Hussain)

Pre-trades that's 5 DWGs, looking to get that up to the 8 DGWs for R2.

At the moment I'm thinking...

Fletcher ---> Handscomb
Zampa ---> Rashid
Stoinis ---> ADE/HOB BAT

My queries are the following:

Rashid vs. Meredith vs. Faulkner

ADE/HOB BAT, would probably prefer a ADE BAT in Renshaw vs. Weatherald to be able to keep around for the R3 DGW.

Ideally Fletcher would've shown something in R1 and allowed me to hold him this week before turning into Carey R3, and using that trade on another ADE/HOB BAT.

Any thoughts appreciated.

The Stars explained that the omission of Nathan Coulter-Nile ($138k BWL) from Saturday’s game against the Thunder on Fox Cricket’s coverage, stating they were “managing him due to back-to-back games.”

Should be good to go!

I agree, Stoinis probably has more potential to score something ballistic but is also more likely to score next to nothing/miss a game or two. Maxi at least stays involved in the game longer so can scrap points from a few more avenues.

Score: 893
Overall Rank: 4560

Disappointing performances from Lynn, Khawaja and Behrendorff but with NCN and Faulkner not having dual position status which we are accustomed to meant there was not as many alternatives I liked. Tye didn't manage to outscore Behrendorff by a considerable amount and I was planning on getting S Marsh until RD4-6. With Lynn and Khawaja playing at the same time I will have to bench one of them and by using the $50,000 on Worrall last round (that was lying around in case of a potential Lynn/Fletcher to Stoinis trade dependent on the results of the opening game of the season) he will be fielded over Behrendorff.

Trading Hussain to Bartlett ensures I can fund my Striker selections whilst opening up the possibility of keeping both NCN and Maxwell for their bye with Behrendorff and Lynn/Khawaja coming back onfield to replace them.

Trades:
Out: A Zampa, A Fletcher and D Hussain
In: R Khan, P Salt and X Bartlett
