Missed out on scoring 1k and just missed out on making the top 1k in rank. :LOL:

Rank: 1,073

Final team was:
WKT: Fletcher (Handscomb)
BAT: Short, Maxwell, Cartwright, DC, Bryant (Jacks, Pfeffer)
BWL: Zampa, NCN, Dorf, Ellis, Hussain (Renshaw, Worrall)

Chose Cartwright over Stoinis in the end. It was looking great yday but ended up only being a small win today. Almost copped a donut, had Milne up til about 10mins before the game but luckily swapped him to Dorf... but he ended being very underwhelming. Spiceman was also very disappointing. Good thing is I'll have 6DGR players in preparation for round 2 before trades.
Cartwright was 70k cheaper

Stoinis or Maxwell, who are we all keeping? Maxwell seems the most obvious one but that last innings from Stoinis looked ominous. Maxwell's bowling isn't necessarily a huge points earner because he essentially baits the opposition into trying to hit him out of the attack and normally doesn't bowl again if they succeed.
maxwell for his allround game, bowls a bit, bats better than stoinis, fields in key areas. Stoinis did look good, but if he loses his wicket, that's him done, and I think still under an injury cloud.

I finished with 1060 which puts me at rank 215

Heros: Vince, Cartwright, NCN, Maxy(C), Hatzolguo

Villains: Short, Jacks, Lynn and Spiceman

Renshaw and Salt coming off the bench

Trades:
Stoin-->Khan
Spiceman--> Nielson
Lynn-->Wells

Who are we captaining this week:
Rashid looks like the obvious one but Short is tempting me

Yeah, having the same issue - moving NCN was always my plan but now I really don't want to!

Kind of tempted to only move in two Strikers (giving me 3/3) and keep Dilbar til tomorrow night to have a look at Christian... but then again, the Renegades look pretty handy!

I no clue what to do with my third trade

I'll go
Spiceman to Neilson
Stoin to Rashid

But now I'm suddenly desperate for Siddle and want to keep Jacks DGW which leaves NCN as my only option to trade out and by doing that I would lose a ton of cash gen View attachment 23351
Cant be too attached with cash generation, need to get the points on field each week at the end of the day, go NCN-Siddle IMHO.

Had a good first round with a score of 1054 and ranked 248 overall.

Looking at going with the following trades;

OUT: Stoinis, Zampa, Cartwright
IN: Rashid, Siddle, Faulkner

Cartwright still has a bit of cash to make but reckon he got reasonably lucky with his first couple of scores particularly due to Dilbar going down with a hammy in game 2.

Team for round 2 if I go with the above trades will be;

Handscomb (Holt (E))
Short, Jacks, Weatherald, Maxwell, Bryant (Christian (E), Wildermuth)
Rashid, Siddle, Faulkner, Ellis, Worrall (NCN (E), Hussain)

9 DG players and can loop Christian by benching Bryant if required assuming Wildermuth is unavailable. Could potentially loop the bowlers too if Dilbar is out but with 5 DG bowlers I don’t think I’ll bother. Could be risky if we don’t have any confirmation before game 1 of the round re: Hussain’s condition anyway.

Thinking Fletcher, Zampa and Stoinis to Khan, Siddle, Salt. If I field Botha over Dorf I have 8DGRs.

A bit worried about my loops, hopefully Pfeffer doesn’t play.

C on Khan or Short...?
