Hi Champs... Can you pls suggest me 2 picks out of these 3- Salt, Renshaw and Siddle.
My thoughts - I am thinking to go with salt and Renshaw for the below reasons.

Salt - started well in Vitality blast with a quick fire 44, which is worth some 70odd SC points and would have learnt the conditions last season, small grounds, he’s attacking, so strike rate bonus etc.

Renshaw - with 2 lefties - darcy and Ingram, he wight bowl a couple of overs and has a min SC points of 40odd against Hobart, bats in top 3.

Siddle - I’ve seen enough suggestions in this thread to pick him, but doubting that he might underbowl being the skipper and his record isn’t great I guess against Hobart (56 SC points being his highest score) & Hobart has a good batting depth.

Kindly suggest pls.
Agree with the sentiments regarding Salt. Also featured amongst the top 10 last season for points from fielding.

Prefer to wait until RD3 on Renshaw.

Very unlikely that he would under bowl himself as they lack other options bar their main 5 (Worrall, Khan, Briggs, Siddle and Agar). More likely that Agar or Worrall bowl 3 overs to allow Renshaw to sneak the opening over or another one, rather than Siddle bowling 3. If you have 4 or more of the Hurricanes top 6 then I would select Renshaw over Siddle and wait until RD3 for Siddle.

I think you've answered your own question within the summaries of each player.

For what it's worth I've got Salt and Renshaw, but haven't got Siddle.

Any help on Wells vs Weatherald
I can’t decide
Weatherald opening is great opportunity to score but I also have Salt, renshaw and Neilson.
Wells is probably better but he bats at 5 which gives him limited opportunity
With a shorter first up power play I'm working off the assumption (aka, blind hope) that it means top 3 batsman make it through the danger overs and can bat a little deeper. Means that even if middle order guys get in they might have to accelerate from ball one which could lead to some volatile scores. Although the form line of openers going out for a duck is making a mockery of that thinking so far!

Really want Salt but dug myself into having to trade fletcher from keeper with no replacement in my team already so I need Handscomb to come in. (Only regret so far is picking Khawaja as my bench for round 1 for money/depth over Handscomb). Zampa and Stoinis have been traded to the stock standard Siddle and Khan to accompany D. Short, Ellis and Ingram.
