Unbelievable day - best bowling performance you will ever see.

Burns actually playing shots & getting aggressive with his mindset was great to see, shows you how important intent & confidence is.

Going to be some interesting conversations before the next test.
Do you keep out the star opener?
Do you drop your 2nd highest scorer from this test?
Do you drop the player who has sacrificed his game to move to the top of the order for the team?
Do you drop the future of Aus cricket after a very serviceable debut?

One has to go.

If Warner is fit he plays.

If they didn't drop Burns for Adelaide , they won't drop him know after a half century.

Think Wade moves back down the order , and Green misses out.

Normally you would expect that to be the case, especially if they had brought someone like in Harris instead of Green.
But Aus have been searching for a genuine all-rounder since the dawn of time, which increases Green's stock quite a bit.

There was a lot of love for Burns after the match , particularly from JL, so I think he would stay at least for the next match.

At the end of the day I would expect it pans out as you surmised, but I'm half expecting a shock announcement.

The problem the selectors have now created for themselves is it will be hard to drop any of the previous incumbents given the faith they have shown in Burns.

On this match you would have to say Head is the one under pressure however he only batted once so that would be pretty tough.

Dont quite understand the desperation for an all-rounder. It wasn’t vital in this game and with the quality of our attack it rarely would be I suspect. Green looks like a prospect and will get his opportunity however he is the one to drop out for me if Warner is available.

At the MCG over the recent years Australia has played 3 main quicks, a main spinner, and then some part timers.

It's a tough one but I think Green will miss, Wade drops back into his position, and Burns stays for now.
