He guys, with the prospect of some x-mas holidays ahead of me, does anyone know if/when the AFL preseason team Picker will be available?
No one knows for sure yet... but I think it opened around the 23rd last year, and I think their have been hints from the HS guys on twitter that it's coming... So keep an eye out in the next few days.

As mentioned, it opened on the 23rd last year. It looks like the AFL fantasy site is open, so I am guessing it will be available early this week, so they can compete.

Everyone has Gold access right now, it was meant to be for the first two rounds of the BBL season - we are part way through R3 now. They will likely cut off that before they open the team picker, so maybe it will open at the end of this BBL round, late Wednesday/early Thursday?

Obviously, the early March date to start the Covid-19 vaccination in Australia, was selected so the AFL's season would run smoothly for us SuperCoaches ;)

In case you haven't heard the news, our national anthem has been changed overnight.

Instead of "young and free" in the second line, it is now "one and free".

Apparently that's the biggest concern for our government heading into 2021...

That was the second biggest news item on the TV news this morning, the leading news story, which dominated most of the news time, was that there were no crowds to witness the Sydney fireworks at midnight. Hmmm, a quiet start to this new year, that has to be good, ay.
It didn't last long, this arvo we get the news that:
Two Victorians who tested positive to COVID-19 visited venues in Eden and Bermagui on Wednesday and Thursday, NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian said.........

............People in the Bermagui area have been urged to monitor for symptoms.

I did hear that, hope you, and all those you know are well. Unfortunately it looks like we might be in for another wave of cases, which was always a possibility with Christmas and New Year get togethers.

A few of us played this last season:

@couchPOTATO might know if this will be running again this season.
I have heard that ShePlays is likely to go again but nothing official as yet. Keep an eye on twitter.

In addition if anyone is keen on having a crack at an AFLW keeper league or draft league in 2021 then post below and I will be in touch in the next week or so about competitions planned on the Too Serious site.
