1. Who’s looking at ROB or another non-Grawndy type at R1/2?
2. How deep are you batting in DEF? Somehow ended up with 5 (Laird, Whitfield, McDonald, Stewart, potentially Z Williams) in my first draft. Like them all but leads to a skinny MID line.
3. Heeney / Tom Phillips / Ziebell - anyone with any of these in their first draft?
4. Yeo / Cripps: Any takers?
I think you can wait on McDonald at his price with a new coach and such a massive turnover of their list.

First attempt of many lol :-

Defence - Would obviously like Lloyd but 656K for a defender seems too much, Laird/Whitfield priced decently & Williams looks good value with midfield time expected.

I am a big DGB fan, saw him beat Logan McDonald in a WAFL game last season in their matchup - this kid reads the ball so well/ intercept marking is excellent which is gold in SC. With Sicily out for the season, I can see him playing his role or similar from round 1. Jones is a young Shannon Hurn, will be right in the mix for round 1 I expect. Not sure on Roberton but price is tempting/ Laurie in the mix as small fwd for the dees/ Gould surely gets a game early on for the swans after waiting all of last year ...

Midfield - Gone for value, think Mitchell will be better after a full season/ Adams with no Treloar appeals. Cripps underpriced & well Rowell is a freak so if fully fit still underpriced. Don't normally pick mid pricers in midfield but Heppell & Hately offer great value, hard to ignore.Powell's scoring last season just freaky... expect all teams to have him.

Rucks - Grundy is underpriced, lets hope he bounces back next season to his best. Great VC option early on with the pies having 3 x Thurs pm games to start. Preuss as the main GWS ruck the obvious bargain R2 option after looking at all options. Treacy a perfect R3 Ruck/fwd to pair with Marshall.

Forwards - Danger with his early draw/ Dunkley so well priced (Bevo a concern I know & with so many quality dogs mids) ... very tempting.
Heeney if he can stay fit a bargain. Hutch & Cockatoo place holders, will monitor closely. Rowe I think can play round 1 for the crows & Macrae very highly rated, hopefully he make the best 22.

No doubt I will make plenty of changes but nice to get a team down

You have my exact forward line haha. Might swing one of the Mid/Fwd rookies to midfield though.

1. Preuss!!! (and Grundy)
2. Thinking 4 premiums (Whitfield, Stewart and two of Ryan, Daniel, Mills, and Ridley).
3. Will consider Heeney, but I think Phillips is 90max and Ziebs is probably done.
4. Cripps!!!

Team picker 2021 player data attached. Note this is tab delimited.

I have done a bit of checking to make sure I haven't got things misaligned in the conversion however if anybody notices anything that looks wrong then let me know and I will fix.
Looks excellent, did you use rvest and scrape it or something? Either way, sensational, seemed all in order and much better to work with.
Did a quick filter on discounted players who averaged 80 or greater and in general it looks like they were pretty circumspect in applying discounts compared to what might have been expected based on previous years...
cheers again, excellent (y)
