Thoughts on Coniglio @ $528k
Had him last year. Never Again. Have Taranto currently, with Tom Green on Pre-Season Watch.
Agree with Vicwood - hell no for me. I said a few times in the X v Y topic I didn't rate him before the season started last year, yet when Covid was imminent at the start of the season, he came into my midprice madness starting team. I ended up stuck with him all season, and he was included as a villain multiple times in the weekly review topics. Very inconsistent, and the low scores really hurt. 4 scores below 80 and 7 below 100 is not what you want from a premium.

Owning and watching Cogs is one of the more frustrating rides in Supercoach going around. Will never go back.
Couldnt agree more. Cogs is the new rockcliff (latter bit of his career). So frustrating. Scores anywhere from 49-141 (2020) or 52-207 (2019). Don't start him, if u really want him get him after one of his super low scores, which is almost guaranteed.

Started him last year and as a few of you know i did very well, I could have started almost any other mid over 550k and ended top 10 overall. One of my favorite moments last season was trading him out!!!

Are people locked in on Grundy, found out he graduated recently, which might explain his form last year. Bring in a bubble, training, playing and trying to study via correspondence. Should be stress free and energised for another great season.
Grundy was the #1 lock in 2020 off-season; now the #2 lock behind Josh Treacy .

I reckon he was a lock for 2021 before the 2020 season finished.

It’s a good point though. Hopefully he gets back to his best this year.

Well Team MK2

Still undecided on D3 Currently Daniels but Ryan is also penciled in. Will see how Fremantle defense lines up with injured players players returning. And WHO gets the kick return duties. Lloyd expensive but this year I will v by pay up for him. Was kicking myself all of 2020 for not starting him and just couldn’t find the funds to bring him in. If I started him would have finished top 1000. Whitfield is a automatic. DeKoning is a bit left field but, Taylor spot is up for grabs and he has a shout. Jones is a pts machine even if doesn’t start round 1 I will float him on the bench, should get a handful of games or more. Wehr, two spots to fill he gets one. Highmore, well the Saints brought him for a reason.

Midfield. Neale expensive but you just need to start him. Currently Oliver but also like PTRACA he is the type of player that can turn a game in 5 minutes and produce 70pts quarter. Another Preseason should add extra 5% match time. Mitchell just nicely priced and longer quarters will see an increase in disposals.Rowell is a SUPERSTAR....rehab not a hitch and reports say he was training intensely in the o***eason and has now joined the main group. Bolton is my selected breakout player for the year. Another gut busting preseason should see him have more time on the ball and DPP is an added bonus. Hutchings on watch, if he laces up round 1 he is in. Powell watch him go.

GAWNDY no brainer. Just Pay Up Lads. Lots of talk on Pruess, if he gets injured (likely) who do you turn too. Move Marshall onto that position RIGHT? But you still need to bring in a FWD rookie. While the beard is pumping out 130pts your FWD rookie returns 50pts. Then you have the added task of finding the coin for the beard, and that will compromise your other lines.

Danger , Marshall LOCK gone with heeeny. Dusty still and Option. Williams will be Nic Nat Relief and will rest forward. Comben has struggled with injury but provides good back up to Goldy and has a good presence forward. Rowe will lock up a vacant FWD position for the Crows.

Hi All,

Hadnt thought for a second about AFL SC for a couple months, but after Sams got subbed out with concussion as my captain last night I will be likely turning my attention back to it. Read through this thread last night, some incredibly good content that got me thinking. Put my first team together this morning:

hahaha

advice from me ? during the Test

was it a success last season ?

I guess it depends on how many of Hutchings , Kelly , Macrae , Cockatoo , Laurie , Rowe etc are named Round 1.

I am sure the likes of Tom Tom , Buddy , Curnow (injured again) , Thomas , Brown , JZ , Joey , Impey etc will get many mentions over the next few months.

But look at Danger , Sidey , Dunkley , Marshall , Dusty , Son Son , Zorko & Heeney you could nearly start all of them and not have to worry.

@Connoisseur

Found it , way back on Page 40

Must have been Boxing Day
