Yeah Mujeeb would be in. Wildermuth won’t average as well back down the pecking order for batting. I’d leave all of him, Gregory and Bryant on the pine to felding Khan, Maxwell, Stonis, Marsh and Inglis if everyone was SGW.

Being a Heat fan hurts even more than usual when they sucker me into loading up on their players in fantasy
Mujeeb ✓ Bryant ✓

So I gather you would bench Gregory & Wildermuth if you knew the first game was a washout only ?

Surely if they bowled first you would back them in one and a bit games over Inglis & Marsh especially.

Scorchers Top 4 takes off Bison isn't getting much of a hit.

I guess that's what is good we all think differently.

You have been a Heat fan for a long time know you should know what they dish up game wise.

They must be due for one of their 2/200 games.

Bored so thought I would humour myself

Round 8

Short 157,417 - > Finch 100, 275 = 57,142 profit

Hatzoglou 82,800 - > Gibson 54,363 = 28,437 profit

Total Banked = $ 85,579 + current Bank

Assuming all 3 of Bryant , Khawaja , Milne are $ 125 k + at the end of Round 8 they can then ALL be upgraded to 3 x $ 150 - $ 160 k Scorcher players (if necessary) in Round 9

Can be quite a simple game if you look at trades in a 1-2 round block

Keep 6 premiums , get 3 new ones , Finch returns to form , bring back Short in 1-2 rounds

Anyway you can only lead the horse to water 😀

That look great and I’m starting to believe in Finch

My only issue is the Stars vs Heat game
I can cover Stoin thru Gibson but with Bryant in the bench I have no way to cover Maxi

The game may start and Maxi bowls two overs but finishes with a SC score of 7
He might drop to 200kish
If he fails again against the scorchers he will be 170k and that’s a easy straight swap for a falling premium

But I’ve got two trades looked in
Hatz->Gibson
Short-> Finch

It’s just that last one that I’m undecided with

P. S after those two trades I’ve got 111k in the bank

That's from windy.com, models are usually quite different, GFS generally the more conservative of them. Gut at this stage says it's pretty much a washout but things have already changed a bit overnight to more impact this evening than tomorrow so i could be ok by then.
Very helpful, thank you!

Thank you , would struggle to understand how it would not work.

Easily explained , easily followed.

2 trades to create $ 85 k to fund 3 upgrades the following round......no brainer

90% of the competition are likely to trade Finch in the next 2 rounds.

Maxwell should be on your bowl field so can be covered by Renshaw

Hatz - > Gibson trade is done via Renshaw.

I am benching both Maxwell & Stoinis myself.

If I was you I would be more concerned about Sams missing both games.

I would do those 2 trades as outlined above and for the third trade do Sams - > Scorcher.

Just need to be careful with the prices of which 3 Scorchers you can get , so don't blow all your Bank in one hit.

Round 9 you then bring Sams back in.

Your bench after trades should be

Bat: Gibson , Bertus
Bowl: Renshaw , Rocchiccioli

Field Bryant

Swap Gibson & Renshaw onfield if you are worried about Maxwell & Stoinis

Personally think having Stoinis and Maxwell in the bank for Round 10 is more important than trading them for fear of losing value, there's still a stack of Scorchers we all need to trade in and you'll be selling yourself short if you trade guys out and back in.

Ok I see the problem

Hatz - > Gibson via Renshaw

Leaves your bat line

Hales , Philippe , Khawaja , Bryant , Gibson / Stoinis * , Bertus

No room for Finch 😢

Bowl line is

Sams * , Short * , Milne , Tye , Renshaw * / Maxwell * , Rocchiccioli

so you can still go Short - > Finch via Stoinis

but will then need to bench one of Maxwell/Stoinis

Would it be smart to go Hatz to Finch

Have never suggested trading any of Maxwell or Stoinis

Short to Finch
Hatz to Gibson

allows $ 85 to then use to upgrade Bryant , Khawaja & Milne in Round 9 to 3 Scorchers.

Allows him to keep all of Carey , Hales , Maxwell , Philippe , Sams , Stoinis.

Trying to prevent him trading premiums in and out.

2 downgrade trades for cash = 3 upgrade trades
