Just Cannot see Taranto being a keeper. I would rather take a risk in the FWD line. Some potential 100+ players for under 450,000
Out of interest, who are you thinking might go 100+ under 450K? With Danger not 100%, thinking I might go a bit cheaper in the forwards and an extra premium elsewhere if I can swing it...

What are peoples thoughts for a M4 between View attachment 24869 and View attachment 24870

They both share the same bye and the difference is $1,700
Walsh for Me. Will score more points to Bye Rounds. And huge breakout potential.

Expecting Cripps to sit FWD early part of the season, to avoid early injury and get some confidence in the shoulder.

Bolton and Phillips

Shai Bolton due to a aging midfield at Tiger Land, Lightening Speed, has a good step in traffic, and crazy good skills, has been building for this move for the past 2 seasons.

Tom Phillips, 6th Preseason, moving to a team in desperate need for an outside mid. Definitely has the engine for this role.

Plus with Neale in the last two years he has pumped out some massive scores in the early rounds.

Factoring early VC/C opportunities, I am more likely than not just going to open the wallet and pay full price.
If only he was available for his 2021 SCS Ultimate League salary. ;)

Richmond are not a high possession team so I really doubt Bolton will go over 100. Martin was the only one who went over 100 last year and it was just.

Yep it’s the durability you’d pay for and I would call a 120 avg a win. If he dropped under 600k during upgrade season, a bit of a fail though.....
Choose your battles! Vast majority will have him give uncertainty over other players.

If there was obvious choices to go without him I would say go for it. Reminds me about the great debates when Jay won the competition and didn't pick Buddy the following year, everyone was thinking he was nuts - from memory. You don't have to have last years top player if he is full price, however, you do have to nail the replacement players so that you are not wasting a trade on them, which is probably the same as the 100-150k we may give up owning Neale from the start.

Neale's start to 2019 shows he can do well in longer quarters, it is more a question whether the dumbass coaches start to tag he more now because he has a brownlow around his neck, more embarrassing now if they let him off the leash. How they have disrespected him in the past and not paid attention to him staggers me.

While I agree Bolton will get more midfield time, Richmond are going to have to play :
  • Dow
  • Ralphsmith
  • Martyn
  • Cumberland
  • Ross
  • Collier-Dawkins
Richmond midfield is aging but has a bit left in the tank, more of a concern is a Key Forward and Defenders.

Dion Prestia (injured Rnd 5) and Shane Edwards (not in hub) were absent until QF.

Is there going to be improvement in Bolton scoring due to improved fitness training with the midfield for a 2nd year?
