Out of your starting team in Rd1 who do you still have in your team?
Philippe & Christian have gone the distance for me.
Started with Maxwell & Zampa, and after being out of my side, they are back in.
The rest has been a revolving door.

You opened up the scars of owning Fletcher , Handscomb & Jacks 😀

Only Maxwell & Zampa the same , don't think I have kept Zampa the entire time though , will need to check my trade history.

5 HH , 5 MS + DC , Renshaw on the bench in preparation for Round 2.

Bertus & Scott still remain from my bench.

Missed Hatzoglou & Sangha , started Bartlett , Hatcher missed the first game of the Stars DGR.

Also considering based on tonights line up, Travis Head. 173K. Last 3 games at home. Likely bats 3. If either Briggs or O'Connor is not in the XI, it could mean a couple of overs come his way.

Head is coming in for me. Had pencilled in KRicho and Head next round after a "sighter" but will have to take the punt early!

Started Zampa too but traded him back in for their recent dgr. (Also Wildermuth basically been there all season when I traded him in round 2 for that 151... good times.)

I have to keep one of Tye or Fawad this round and essentially play them (looping with Milne lol). Any thoughts on who's the better one to keep and would score more this round? The tough hurricanes batting line up but at Marvel which seems bowler friendly at times?

Likely will trade the other one next round.

Keep Tye if they bowl first, Fawad if they bowl second.

My gut feeling was to hold Fawad too as spinners seem to have done OK at Marvel so far. His Wrong-Un has proved pretty successful.

My lesson from this season is to back your gut... it won't always work, but it burns less when you backed yourself and it failed than it does when you go against your gut and you would have been right all along!

Pretty much the same.

Started Maxwell, Short, Pfeffer and Christian. Maxwell went out then back in again, so the only constants have been Short, Pfeffer and Christian.

Wow. Interesting. DC and D'Arcy are the only players that have been there from the start. Maxwell and Pfeffer I did start with and had traded out and back in recently.

Should have had McDermott and Wilderbeast in my starting team too, but that's for a vents and regrets thread.

I thought they canned that because Curran was on a multi year deal and someone else from another club so it wouldn't be a level playing field for all.

Wait does that mean the only OS players we get will actually be superstars ? 😀

If that's the case I am all for it.

Maybe they need a IPL style auction where clubs release players at the end of the season , then can either buy them back or another club can buy them.

From my reading of the article it would be similar to the AFL draft.

International players would nominate the period they were available then it would be up to the francises to 'draft' the players they want, it was indicated that draft order would be the reverse of this years BBL ladder.

It also indicated there would be some kind of 'selection matching' similar to AFL where a long standing player (such as Khan) at one franchise, then that francise would have the ability to 'match' an offer on a player o prevent them going to another francise.

I guess more will be know if and when it goes ahead.
