So how far off 11th are you ?

Try and make up 100 on them Round 13 (50 or so off the bench , 50 VC/C) then make up 100 again in Week 1 of the finals where you can at least loop the first game.

See how close you get.

Then just comes down to 11 players and Captains choice.
123 to to 10th, 298 to 3rd, 409 to 1st
possible but yeah would need some big C's

I have only Hales and Carey playing tonight with dodgy weather most probably. To save much angst I am considering trading them
to Abbot and Ellis thus bypassing what may be a stressful BBL match tonight. This leaves a trade for whatever befalls us tomorrow.
Have Carey, Hales and Neser, if tonight looks dodgy will trade out just 2 to use the trade loop tomorrow, the one I keep is probably the opener who Bats first I guess and put the E on, ideally Carey who still makes some cash anyway.

Round 13 will bring much joy, 2 trades made thus far,
Out Cooper, yes that's right and Zampa
In Wade, should have been last round and PML.

VC on Hales tonight, he owes me big time, expecting some weather issues, regardless he opens, so sure to see plenty of ball. 2 in tonight's game Hales and Head. Hopefully everyone trades out players from these teams, so I can have my pods.

Thanks Herbie - for the new kids, just confirming that you’re saying that there’s no real need to bring in a donut from a team that’s already out of finals contention this round, because you can just use the names you listed next round? Ie no need to load up on Renegades for use as donuts eg?
Correct

Week 1 of finals I assume most people will be looping WK2 , Batter 6 & Bowler 6 so you will probably need 3 non-playing cheapies.

Bertus/Pfeffer , Scott , LNS etc etc

Finch if you already have him.

Can someone explain how the trade loop works, as I haven’t actually used it before. For example, if I trade Head and Billings, to t20 playing tomorrow. Would I then be able to trade the players I bring in to another player without burning a trade, as long as I keep a trade spare.

Would that count as me using the third trade?

That is correct ... wouldn't count as a third trade ...

Edit: you can even practice doing it before the first game tonight and then reverse the trades ...

- but make sure you reset your emergencies and VC / C options etc if doing so ....

I have never been ranked that high so I guess I don't know how I would react.

10th could be the matter of 1-2 POD players away so do you play "safe" or attempt a move.

Without looking I am guessing the majority of teams above you would have the same 7-9 similar players so it's those other ones that will make the difference.

Imagine if you had traded out say Carey/Hales/Richardson last round for a Wade type.

To me I think I would risk it and try and finish Top 10 at least.

Never know if and when you will be this close again.

@Pookus McFly

Haven't given up but time for a massive Hail Mary , any chance you can find a POD VC option in either the Strikers/Thunder game or Scorchers/Heat one.

Ideally they need to score 300+ but would settle on 125-150 😀

Cheers

Whatever you are doing Ratzondix it appears to be working. From your previous post culling some of your 7 Strikers/ Thunder
players may limit the damage tonight if the heavens open up. The problem for many of us is that the weather situation may force us to act tonight instead of getting rid of money losers like Zampa or I have to say it, Maxwell. Good luck as you surge forward.
Not me Johno. I’ve got Carey Hales and Neser. Can loop 2 of them.
That would be me. Similar avatars, gets confusing.

so let's see

If @Darkie is first in line for free KFC for life , how do I get some of that

9955 v 9529 = 426 to make up

If I look at his team we have 8 of the same starting XI so essentially I need my 3 POD'S to outscore his 3 by 426 points for the rest of the season.

And then it will come down to VC/C choices.

Very nice side btw (obviously given where you are ranked)

You are being facetious, but here is my best answer anyway. I have Neser and Head (3% and 5% owned) in tonight’s game which would make a great POD VC but with the weather I have them looped on the bench. Steketee the only lowish (7%) ownership who I like in the second game.

You have Roy, and I am jealous. If I had him I would likely VC him. He’s not a POD at 10% but I doubt many trust him with the VC as they would with someone like Lynn, which is strange since I’d back him to do just as well. High risk with a BAT only but he’s not a sexy option as with other Brand names, so at least if he goes 100+ you get it mostly to yourself. Then you just death ride all the other popular options including your own :D

Actually I wasn't but anyway......

Went and had a look in the Top 20 and tried to look for some.

3 names popped up

Abbott , Roy and Wade

1 meets the first 2 games criteria in Roy

And then I check back here and your answer is Roy 😀

Just now hope Roy can score a century and have a couple of fielding involvements.

Tonight's game will be very important dependent off the bench or if people have too many they could be in a lot of trouble if it is a significantly rain affected game.
