Yeap the Adelaide forecast has gotten worse around game time. Pretty sure a washout gets both teams into the finals so I'm not sure how keen they would be for a 5 over a side game in wet conditions.
Complete washout obviously suits SC players better , a significantly rain interupted game could completely ruin people's rankings.

I'm looking at Dwarshius as usefully priced trade in this round.

He is averaging 60 points game, excluding his injury/sub game. That puts him about 12th on the bowlers list, but taking out players no longer here (Rashid, Mujeeb, Holder), injured (Sams, Faulkner) and low game numbers (Marnus, Moises, Abbott, Doggett) and he's almost the best bowler in the comp (behind Jhye) at 147K

think thats a pretty good shout, depends what the deal is with starc, if he comes in this round dwars will probably drop out but if he doesn't make himself available dwars is the only safe bowler (outside of abbot) due to being a leftie

Haha yeah I read it wrong. I get that you were after a POD but I thought you mean you wanted one that scored 300 points (doubled to 600 as captain). I was chalking it up to exaggeration on your part but did my best to fit the bill :ROFLMAO:
I would need one to go 300 points to have a chance of overall , but realistically that is not happening so aiming for 12th and free KFC for life (actually I don't think it is even a prize but it is motivation enough)

Roy is the one , now I almost want to trade out Hales so I don't get confused bench looping.

Have carried him since his injury and stuck him on my bench the last 2 games which is very annoying and frustrating

Even is Starc comes back I would expect Dwarsh to be there. He is best XI (was one of the sixers best bowlers last season and was again at the beginning of this season). Jake Ball would be out long before Dwarsh

Correct

Week 1 of finals I assume most people will be looping WK2 , Batter 6 & Bowler 6 so you will probably need 3 non-playing cheapies.

Bertus/Pfeffer , Scott , LNS etc etc

Finch if you already have him.
Thank you. I have Pfeffer, Bertus and Kerr at this stage.

The Sixers appear to be locked in the top 3, so they won’t play the first finals match and can be used to loop.

Brisbane could play in that match, but they’re a decent chance to miss out on the finals, and hopefully I could use LNS as a replacement in a reshuffle if the Heat finish 4th or 5th.

Talks about finals. Seems given they are guaranteed a finals spot they have given starc the regular season off.

The other guy I am looking at (cant believe this after last night) is Meredith. He was averaging 57 half way through the comp. Now priced at <100K. Playing a renegades team that now how to collapse. Feels like an interesting loop option given I have plenty of stars in my team.

I'm pretty confident we'll get a game tonight, 1.9mm due between 3-6pm and 3.8mm 6-9pm noted chance of rain decreases at 9pm to 47% to .5mm . There's a 12km an hour wind north westerly which changes to south, south westerly around 9pm. I think the rain will come earlier and clear up earlier with a change in wind direction. Mild conditions with 24 degrees. You know I wanted to be a weather reporter when I was a kid, followed Rob Gell. lol.

Very well planned and you have everything under control.

Ideally you would want the 3 donuts to come from the teams finishing 1st or 2nd (or a already owned player not playing finals) for the loop to work if necessary.

You may well be right. I'm going to trade Neser to Wade anyway. Just leaves me Siddle. If it's raining at 7pm and the covers are on, it just feels easier to trade Siddle to Dwarshius and move on. Following the weather is great stuff. I'm the guy in the office people ask if they need an umbrella or not.

Hopefully the bat flip is done on time or it'll be the usual guessing game with players already locked out and flying blind ...

Nothing wrong with Meredith , massive fan of his.

More than capable of a 3fa or going the distance.

Should be a lot better bowler than he is.

Seems Boland & Ellis are getting the majority of wickets now , things can change quickly in T20 cricket though.
